Could I be counted as a new player?

I'm more interested in plot and story and somesuch and anything specific. I tend to focus on RP stuff. That said, maybe looking at a Cleric or Oracle.
Is there anything you're going to divulge to us Neonivek, or are we just going to roll with it come Saturday? Are we following all the same rules as in the OP?

I am following the same rules, which in hindsight might have not been optimal given that the original intent is mired (which was for crossover potential). Though I am more willing to bend the rules.

I will divulge that as far as story is concerned, I don't have one yet. I have an initial hook and I am deciding on the direction (as well as allowing the player's personal story to shape and transform the narrative) but I haven't anything concrete as of yet in terms of where things go from there.

My original intent was for you to grow your organization in terms of power and political influence and have that be the stage for more epic storytelling. Yet it doesn't leave much room for my personal style of whimsy or intrigue.

I don't have the extra week (plus tons of story hooks the players provided) to feed me like last time.

Are we going to use the first session to kinda establish everything (lots of OOC stuff I guess), or will the first session be mostly jumping right in and figuring stuff out as we go? You are being contacted by this organization for the first session and they basically have a job for you. Each of you being offered something different (I'll leave the letter ambiguous for people who don't have a backstory finished in time).

Which also makes who is contacting you also a mystery onto itself, given that whoever set this up clearly knows more about you all then should be possible.

Alright, if we're just hopping in then I won't ask many more questions about the setting.

I will ask, though, are we doing anything with Stunting? Exalted term for rewarding good roleplaying with some sort of bonus. Last campaign I participated in (Dnd 3.5) rewarded roleplaying that was done as part of a roll as giving +1 to the next roll involving whatever was rolled. Example being a fiery speech and/or demonstration for an intimidate check (Note, for that campaign, it had to be roleplayed at whatever roll was made, so for a weak roll into intimidate, more of a half-hearted speech or demonstration would get the roleplay bonus still).

Stick with core and Advanced Player's Guide.

Does this count for our campaign? Was going to use drawbacks and some traits and stuff that aren't available in the PCGen program linked in the OP and found out they came out in a new core book recently (Ultimate Campaigns or something).

For the most part I 'personally' stick to anything "I" can find on the Pathfinder SRD officially made by Piazo.

As for Stunting, I never quite liked it even within Exalted. It tended to lend itself to over-dramaticism

I always liked the idea of Stunting, but it shouldn't apply to RP. Rather, if you do badass stuff, you should get a bo us to do more badass stuff.

I will say that what you say during intimidation and diplomacy helps... I generally don't like a "I diplomacy them"

Let me see... it is 9pm right now... in 3 hours it will be 12am... then in 12 hours it will be 12pm... then in 3 hours it will be 3pm... and 24 hours it will be Saturday

3+12+3+24 = 42 hours.

also why can't you join the campaign? It could be because of your browser since it only accepts Firefox and Chrome.
