Your party consists of one less than half a dozen sentient organic life forms. They are on a constructed floatation device made almost entirely of some form of a brown presumably organic solid material. None of the sentient organic life forms have any memory of prior events. On the constructed floatation device is a storage containment device made of the same brown presumably organic solid material. The party on the constructed floatation device is surrounded by a partially transparent blue liquid.

One creature sits on the box stating this box is hers and no one may open it.
Another creature punches her in the snout to establish superiority.

One of the creatures dive into the liquid to see what it does.

The sentient organic life form standing in the center of the constructed floatation device decides to open the storage containment device, calling it a box, while a female sentient organic life form declares that the box is hers, and nobody else's. A third sentient organic life form smack her in the nose for it.

Meanwhile, another sentient organic life form scans the visual limitation, and sees a mass of non-liquid up ahead.
The last sentient organic life form falls off the constructed floatation device. He's having trouble breathing!

((Also, please give them names, so I can distinguish them apart.))

The breathing-challenged life-form shall henceforth be known as Flounder.

Box-claimer demands that the liquid carry her to the non-liquid, that she may sit on it and claim it!

The one who had punched Box-claimer calls himself Leader and orders her to help Flounder back into the boat.

Eyes (the only one who maintained rational thinking and did something constructive with a level head.) Attempts to aid flounder back into the boat.

Leader demands that the Box-Claimer help Flounder up, but she instead moves to the front of the constructed floatation device, and commands the liquid to take her to the non-liquid,
Flounder is back on the constructed floatation device, with the help of Eyes, and he announces that the liquid does not allow breathing.

Meanwhile, the last sentient organic life form finishes his quest to open the box. There is a variety of objects in the box.

Box-Claimer grasps the top-right instrument, then swings it at the liquid for daring to disobey her! Making sure not to lose grasp on the instrument, because after losing the box to "Leader" she's not about to lose her Thingy to no-breathing!
