Tech support! This one website keeps timing out.

My problem is thus: One particular website I visit frequently has decided that it suddenly doesn't want to load for me anymore. It says that 'The server at so and so is taking too long to respond.'  The site itself is working perfectly, as I can access it with a proxy and others are using it fine, but that 'solution' makes things wholly complicated.

Just tested: Not one computer in my household is able to load up the site either. I'm pretty sure it's not any kind of virus or such.

 I have had this problem before but forgot how I fixed it.

open your windows command prompt.

Type "ping <the website address>" (No quotes)

Or go to downforeveryoneorjustme.com

Well it appears that I'm having a dual problem of 'I'm not able to access the site when it's up' and 'The site itself also appears to be down according to all these proxies'

The site loads really slow, maybe its a server issue?

Has the site always been slow/broken for you?

It started just a week ago. They've been known to have crappy servers and it's always been slow, yes. But I got past my initial block via proxies and everything appeared to be going as usual.

I haven't been banned and we basically restart our router every five hours cause if we don't our browsers just up and stop accepting internet.

Well for one thing it isn't mine, so I have no idea.

That is one idea though, maybe I can switch out my uncles router with ours until we move out.

There are loads of posts on that forum about the server being down a lot recently.

Tho if you are having to restart your router every 5 hours to make it work then its probably a router issue or something on the computers messing with the connection.

do you download torrents at all?
