Latest possible Human Caravan arrivel date?

So I'm in my 12th year, reasonably sure I have access to human civilization, but they have yet to show up. Any guesses as to why?

Oh, also while I know it's possible, goblins, elves, kobolds, and of coarse dwarves all have access to my fortress, so I think it's unlikely humans don't.

sounds like its most likly that u didnt start off near a human civilisation,  go back to the world map and start a new fortress on the samee square to find out.  u can do this by copy pasting your DF folder to make a back up and with the back up abandoning your fortress.  then start a new fort on the same grid location to find out.

I made the mistake of modding fire imps so that they can reproduce.  I now have 3 pages of fire imps in my second year.  Maybe I should make them be children longer...

In the mean time, a series of traps provides me with a constant supply of valuable bones ^.^
