((:I Kork is no longer allowed near the water supply without adult supervision.))
((You are great at this, just thought you should know.))
((Thanks, glad spending too much time on each character is worthwhile.))
Now have a turn, since I said I would have one today, even though I haven't quite finished the drawing part.
{6} - Pescal the forest gnome arrives on the scene, interested in the new arrivals to his lands.
HP: 6Trait: Animal Empathy{3} - Dragon egg is a dragon egg. It should not be used as a shield. It should not be used to test the depth of dark pits. It should not be used for breakfasts. It should not be used for second breakfasts. To stay on the safe side, it should not be used within 2.73 km of a hobbit.
{2} - Noot the salaman had once lived happily in an extended family group. One day while spelunking alone, there was a minor tremor. While retreating, he discovered a freshly unearthed giant egg. Curious, he began to carry it home. His body heat revived it, and it magically bonded his emotions to it. His matriarch didn't like the danger a giant egg represented (giant mothers are scary), and gave him an ultimatum to leave or replace it. He left.
Weeks of traveling later, it seems to be nearly ready to hatch, when he comes upon some sort of altercation. He also notes a distinct lack of pants.
HP: 6
Trait: Fire_Healed - Can only regenerate in fire. Fast healing in fire. Immune to normal fires.
Trait: Cold weakness{4} - Irenys, having fallen behind, finally catches back up to her companions. From the sound of things, most of them are trying to kill a wild boar. She calls out a greeting and waves at Raksharak.
{2} - Capac awakes to find himself somehow being burned by the hateful overlight. He's pretty confident he shouldn't be on the surface. A badger is nearby, trying to defend its home from a group of kobolds.
Trait: Blind
Trait: Echolocation
Trait: Sun Weakness{2} - Raksharak tries to get Quixote to be his bodyguard by showing him his birthmark. Quixote accepts before seeing it, hugs him, then runs off shouting about how he's coming to help. Strange.
{5}, {4} vs {4} - Together, Kork and Kemla fire a dart and throw a javelin at the creature. It partially dodges. The dart pins on of its feet to the ground, and the javelin goes through its side. Kork feels faintly vulnerable.
{2} - Kishquark walks across the stream and stands in front of Kemla. Something strikes the ground next to him, but he assumes it isn't a threat.
{1} - Basspate approaches the aggressive creature to tame it with stabbery, but one of the sentients falls on him, apparently in a misguided attempt to be friendly. Ow.
-2 HP{5} - In an impossible leap, Kromewill jumps off the hill and bashes the beast with the base of his pick, knocking it out and managing to avoid impaling himself on the javelin. He decides to lay on it to pin it.
{3} - Quixote bounces of the hill and lands on something warm. He begins hugging it, and it makes funny noises.
{3} - Lukeinator stands guard, and notices strange creatures congregating in the area. He's not sure how the one behind him got there.
Forest gnomes are fairly solitary beings. They have a great mutual understanding with wild animals. They are hardy and strong for their size.
Salamen are interesting creatures. They hatch only in fire, and require fire to heal naturally. They are carnivores, but also need to absorb fire. Salamen who subsist off of only meat or fires get malnourished. Only extremely hot or certain magical fires burn them, but they are vulnerable to cold.
Troglodytes are cavern dwellers. They are blind and have a distinct aversion to sunlight, but can echolocate.
