So, like a medium-sword? Or a sword going through puberty, while it's in between growth spurts?

A Pimple-Sword.
At first, I read that as "Pimp-Sword" which is infinitely more badass.
I feel like a pimple sword would start cracking at some point.

Well I meant it as in it can slash people up, but it still looks like a bunch of scrap glued together in the shape of a longsword. Which is precisely what it is :P

I feel compelled to ask what you used for glue, yet at the same time repulsed by the prospect of knowing.

{1} - Kishquark doesn't notice anything that looks yummy in the area, so he tries munching on grass. It tastes like rabbit food, and now he feels bad.
Faint Nausea: Ends after next turn. No real effect, but may worsen.
-1 HP

{1} - Kromewill tries climbing over the hill to get to the cave. He slides off the slippery grass, bruising himself, but makes it partway up by using his pickaxe.
-1 HP

{2} - Kork discovers a kobold, way off in the distance! It looks almost exactly like Kromewill! He waves, but gets ignored :(

{3} - Kemla gets up the hill just fine, but the tree looks slippery and hard to climb, and she spends the next few minutes trying to gather the courage to climb it.
Skill: Basic Tracking (Natural Creatures): 50% chance of upgrading a critical fail into a regular fail.

{4} - Brasspate completes his ritual, the fruit of years spent experimenting and hoarding what scraps of mana he could keep to himself. He is transported to the mortal plane, and finds himself in an area with no organized mortals. He notes that he lost more mana than he expected. As expected, none of his spells will work properly on this plane, but he shouldn't have too much trouble re-learning them, if he can find a reliable way to replenish his mana.
HP is 6/6.
Mana is 2/10.
Trait: Partial Atronach: No free mana regeneration. Regain mana by, in order of power, a willing blood sacrifice (Non-lethal), draining enchantments (includes potions, but they're weaker), absorbing left-over mana from recently cast spells (free action), or meditating to slowly consume ambient mana.

Wolf howls can be heard in the distance.

Spoiler: Imp Race (click to show/hide)

((Derm, pick a less expensive accessory.))

I will.

[Edit] I'd like Tracking as a minor skill, if possible.
Thanks. Less work for me means more updates, faster. Kobolds start with 4/4 HP. Only IronyOwl has MP.

Kork continues scouting above ground, around the cave.

We gotta know what's in our immediate surroundings, yeah?

Kemla gives the slippery tree a look of consternation. Getting such a vantage point would be very helpful, but then again bravery is not something kobolds are known for. She can easily ignore this scary opportunity to help her fellow bolds. Instead of climbing the tree Kemla surveys the forest from the hill, watching for threats.
