Take a whack at the tree, to use as a stair for the others.

The cave is already occupied by one or more terrifying creatures!

I'll let you spawn as an egg about to hatch into a dragon, but an adult would be too powerful relative to everything else to spawn on turn 2. Plus, the current play area is about the size of a fully-grown dragon.

Wait, you can spawn in as a dragon?

I wish to change my race to a Dragonwrought kobold.

Wait a sec. *Rereads last update* oh I thought you hadn't actually put me in yet, nevermind.

Or... did you?

How 'bout Mysterious swirly fullbody birthmarks.
Allowed, but you are fuzzy, and the birthmarks wouldn't usually be visible.

I wish to change my race to a Dragonwrought kobold.
No, but ... what is it? A kobold that has undergone nearly impossible tests, passed down through dozens of generations of a dragon-slayer order, forever changed by the experience? Is it some sort of kobold-shaped golem forged by dragons? A golem made of the concentrated essence of ancient dragons, smelted down as an alloy, dragonium? A kobold cyborg with implants made of dragonium and forged by dragons?

Wait a sec. *Rereads last update* oh I thought you hadn't actually put me in yet, nevermind.

Or... did you?
You are the green one resting at the base of the hill.

Good, but please add skills, traits, race, and a few descriptive words.

I'll go back and change that now. You want me to do inventory too?

It's A DnD kobold sub-race thing. Sorry, I just remembered it from somewhere and I usually say things without thinking 'oh hey this might not actually be common knowledge', which it isn't. Or considering how stupid it is. (It usually is.)

Also I thought kobolds were lizardy?

They're lizardy, or doggy, or even humanoid. I believe DnD kobolds are the lizards you're used to, but in (Germanic?) myths they were more commonly humanoid or canine.

I think. I'm no professor or nuthin'.

Eh, that'd be good too.

I prefer these. Besides, I cannot draw lizardbolds, only lizardman children.

{2} - Raksharak dreams about investigating the cave. Dream-Raksharak finds a fabulous treasure: a giant, bright blue whistle. He wakes up before he gets to test it, finding only disappointment and a strange desire to move away from the nearest tree.

{6} - Kork briefly investigates the forest to the east, finds three meals worth of wild berries, and decides to return before he gets lost.

{4} - Brasspate enters the cave. It spirals downwards and contains a malign non-sentient. As he stares at it, he notices a prey-sentient cautiously approach from the entrance.

{2} - Kemla looks around at the forest. She bets she could walk for days in any direction and find nothing but lightly hilled forest!

{5} - Kishquark rushes into the cave. There are two not-kobolds: One that smells of sharp aggression and earth. The second smells sulfuric and strange .. unnatural. The cave seems to have a nest of the aggression-and-earth creatures.

{2} - Kromewill drags his pickaxe up the hill, but is tired, and his weak swing barely mars the bark.
Tired: -1 to moderate physical exercise for two turns.

Did... did I walk off the map?

Oh dear me.

Now that the forest has been explored, spelunk! With extreme prejudice!

Woo, update!

Ugh, sit down and rest, to negate the penalty, the others can climb on their own.
