Because driving off rats is not going to lead to a bored son with more anger at his mother...

Is he angry? i mean he does understand what money is and that without it people won't just let you take stuff right?

Besides in the end if he becomes a gangster of a child we'll simply inform him it's one thing to be a pawn and the other to be a orchestra tor...and to always strive to be the orchestra tor unless he wants to be someone else's plaything.

He's certainly not happy about his mother's interference in his life.

And do you really think our character would be fine with letting Koro grow up to be a(n un)common criminal?

Well if we allowed him to fight, and then tell our husband to train with the son once he is back, it would probably boost trust between the two and eventually open a better relationship to us as well.

Fight with whom? Answer that in a satisfactory manner, and my full agreement is behind it.

Well we could get him a proper trainer, best suited would be a shaolin kinda type. He would train with him and learn honourable ways, and once he has reached a level he could go on missions.

Since we are in a land more like Scandinavia than China, what would you suggest instead? Finding a Wildblood interested in training Koro?

Or maybe just let the theiving magician's guild train him in {theivery/murder/lockpicking etc} and mentor him on being a "Leader" just like his father. Give Kora examples as to why leadership is so important and why one should strive to represent a group of people.

Such honorable arts that will have so many uses this side of the law.

What makes you think they would do that?

Having him spend time with his adoptive (and currently only) family would be good for the boy.

Well given, that we tell them to introduce him and US to their ways.
Definitely a +1 for GWG

Have his father do it then or hell teach him ourselves a bit. Maybe take him to the embassy to talk with some representatives who could teach him. Wasn't there that one dwarf veteran super soldier? Have him teach koro Military leadership, how to fight{with something}, and bot be an A-hole to ppl. While in parallel with some magician school of thuggery.

You had me until "thuggery".

Why do you want Koro to become a criminal?

Alright. Thanks for hanging in and actually keeping this thread alive. Last week was crazy due to a time consuming combination of several mid-terms, Work starting up, a large paper due, my birthday (I got to go out to the Strip twice and see both Josh Groban and Meatloaf), The Red Sox being in the playoffs, and Pokemon coming out.

I have one last huge paper (a take home mid-term) to knock off before things calm down enough for me to get back to my own creative writing. Update should come sometime between Tonight and Wednesday Night, depending on how productive I am today and how tired I am after school tomorrow.
