Parts and slaves gets you the most money, but you can be left holding them prisoner and feeding them for weeks.

Agree, plus that's about the LAST thing *I* want to see from this kind of game - author spending valuable development time on useless graphics.

Speaking of, can someone survive with just one lung, or is removing one instant death like the heart or liver?

They can survive with one lung, but they wont be able to do much.

To be more specific, 'breathing' is a factor in a few skills, such as walking.  So if they're missing a lung, they'll walk slower.  It affects other skills too, so it generally penalizes multiple things.

The optimal order is to remove one lung and one kidney (assuming they had both), then choose between heart and liver.

EDIT: BTW, in real life you probably could have gotten away with removing both kidneys and the liver without the patient dying instantly, I think. Then again, toxicity building up on the other organs may not be a good thing...

The game's a bit costy but look real cool. Is there any good review or whatever that shows if the game's worth to get? What do you guys say?

I've heard some things about this game being unplayable/clunky/lacking in content and not worth buying. That true? I was going to pick it up when it was on sale on Steam some non-Steam digital game distributor a bit ago but user reviews made me decide to wait a bit.

It's pretty good. Especially with mods! I'm definitely a fan of this one.

I absolutely adore Rimworld. It runs super smoothly on my rig, but I have a decent gaming rig.

It's a great game, well worth the money I say especially as it's still being developed.

The more it gets developed the more tools for modders and the modders are doing amazing things

This, really. It's a non-trivially priced game, so I don't want to buy something I won't enjoy.
