Just posting to warn you to never post up an unformatted email address online. Spam crawlers will pick it up and your inbox will be completely filled with crap. Always break your email address or better yet send it through a personal message.

Also it's a very cool looking game by the way and I'll enjoy watching the development.

Judging from the support, I don't think the whole 'Prison Architect rip-off' concerns anyone.

they're just placeholders, the kickstarter FAQ clearly estates that once the project is funded he'll get a real artist for the real graphics of the game

I got a $30 gift card recently that I was hoping to throw at this but it seems that it doesn't like being used outside the US.  Curse you, dark secretive world of prepaid gift cards! :P

I'll probably just see if there's any way to give it to my bank instead and then pay.   Must...get....pre-alpha...
Tried through PayPal?
Not enough money in my bank account to cover it until I get the card in there.  I am unfortunately an unemployed college student with an allowance that occasionally gets a gift card or money to spend on "something nice for myself" for maintaining friend and family computers.

I'm a bit new to Kickstarter.  Since it's over 100% funded can I back the kickstarter and it will take the money out now, or would it be better to purchase on the website if I wanted the money taken out immediately?

IIRC: Kickstarter only takes the money when the project's funding time ends.

Though well, I guess it would be best to buy it on the website. The project has no risk of missing it's goal, so you might as well avoid giving kickstarter a cut of the money.

Alrighty cool.  Will do, thanks.

Kickstarter is currently showing 256% funded  Congratulations, even if donations completely drop off yer probably going to be getting 300% by the end.

One of the possible names is "Dorsey".

I approve of this game.

Yeah, it really does look neat. I would purchase it, but I lack the means to do so.

Yes, I know. I was just responding to Tilla's comments.

Either through the kickstarter or on the main site here.  Both are basically the same, just the main site allows paypal.  IIRC $20 is a prepurchase giving you access in January, $30 gives you prepurchase, access to the prealpha (immediately after kickstarter), and earlier game concepts that eventually became rimworld.

Just contributed $30 myself and registered on the Rimworld forums.  And christonian yer vids definitely got me off the fence about buying, keep up the good work!

Alright, now I just have to get $20. I'm not taking out of my savings account, don't want to start doing that, you understand.

I need this game right now! As does my cousin - we've been watching videos and talking about it much of the day. Alas I'm out of work and out of money or I'd back in a heartbeat, and my cousin is barely making ends meet. It'll probably be long since released before we can even think about scraping the monies together to play it. I'm a sad Fishie tonight :(

Anyway, all the best with the project, we'll be watching with interest as it develops (and with envy at all the people getting to play) it's looking like it'll be an excellent game :)
