Can you install a psychic focus into an organic sock puppet and are they able to use the powers?  This is interesting.

So I had my remaining organic colonist, named Long, gain a title in the fallen empire and then equip a psychic amplifier. Then I turned him into a puppet and his title, and therefore permissions to use psychic powers stayed as part of the body.

His pilot, Apex Beta, is able to use his painblock psychic power perfectly fine.

This obviously means I can usurp the High Stellarch's body and take control of any and all psychic powers they have when they arrive.

So here I am selling honey and beeswax as a front for all the smokeleaf, psychite, and 'liberated' organs I'm actually selling while my Yabil Dame makes occasional rambling and pointless speeches that piss everyone off and all she contributes is an occasional slow on a raider.

You however appear to be creating psychic borg. ....and also selling drugs on the side.   I think what you are doing is called winning.

Annoyingly the organic surrogates make their pilots have all human needs, like dining rooms and toilets (dub's bad hygiene,) so they're more prone to mood problems as a result of the colony being designed around android needs.

When moody the pilot minds retreat back into the Skycore, dropping their host wherever it was, and won't come back out until they finish being moody. Alpha and Gamma had a social fight when Gamma was prepping Alpha's host for surgery and both just collapsed on the hospital floor.

Flesh is weak, and may need to be Joywired.

Eyyy, that's the poor English translation mod that recently showed up.

I think my favorite part of that image is "The doctor: No."

An Emu, a Boomrat, and a Rat walked right through my colony.
I don't know where this joke goes, but it was certainly bizarre watching them walk in a line.
And no, those were wild creatures, not ones following a trade caravan.

On the topic of wierd mods, there's a mod that adds Ram Ranch music to the game. Cowboy hats (human leather or otherwise) not included.

I'm not sure if the ram ranch music mod's custom combat music exactly helped.

Same reason people play Pokemon Vietnamese Crystal.

Because it's hilariously random.

I had a very long argument with a dude in Hong Kong while trying to track down a real copy of this. This dude had everything - bootlegs or not, and had never heard of this. We had a good laugh over a video of it. Still haven't found one, but some day I will...

Decided to try out some new old mods.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Problem doesn't appear to stem just from mismatched ids, because i can start a game with androids, but they have food meter, energy meter doesn't go down and i can't pick embark site manually. This version of HAR was downloaded from whatever site, because "1.1, 1.0" version (and only?) on steam is specifically marked as 1.0 in game and hangs it up after map generation by itself. Can someone explain to me, what's up with my game and where\how i can get proper version of mods required (1.1 version of androids is for some reason on discord only, by the way, but LOOKS like it's supposed to work)?

Wonder if new "all-the-rage, OW THE EDGE" ones will work, but i want to take a look at those first (i sort of did, grammar is a murder). Also, new main menu screen and loading tips are abominable.  :P

EDIT: Downloaded same HAR from github, same thing. Androids are legit busted. Will check with something else.
EDIT2: Nope, androids are not the only one. This one was properly released for 1.1 just a week ago. What the hell happened? I have an unlikely theory, but would rather hear others first. And yep. android tiers don't appear to require HAR at all (although i didn't properly checked yet).
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
EDIT3: Map shenanigans were caused (?) by jecstools, of all things. Now i, at the first glance, merely can't open research screen due to HAR throwing up an error.
Damn, i was just going to post a silly picture.
EDIT4: Ok, found proper place to download harmony, research thing is on load only, i didn't really wanted star wars (harmony fuckery, not really version related), and general, but not full, answer to my questions turn out to be "the mod are\were broke, yo". So... rant for nothing? On a brighter note: Playing first time on a new version. Should have i added pessimist to the bunch?
