Has there ever been indication of z-levels?

It'd be really, really nice if there were. Even if it was just one level deep it'd open up a whole load of possibilities.

Or even pseudo Z levels.

Come to think about it the new multicolony system could serve as a basis to do pseudo Z levels

I don't even mind when 2D top view games use Z-levels in ways that don't allow Z-levels to interact at all (except to transition) - so basically, independent maps. As long as it doesn't become an exploit of some kind.

I had a visit from about 200 friendly tribespeople and even after annihilating them all for killing my fps, the game still runs incredibly janky on 3x speed like it never did before.
Anyone know a solution?

Burn their bodies, clothes, weapons, and pretty much all you don't need especially if it can degrade.

I just "won" Rimworld by launching a spaceship with all my colonists, and now I'm looking for my next playthrough, with mods. The problem is, there are so many to choose from, outside from "Prepare Carefully" mod, of course. So, can you recommend me some mods? I look for mods which improve the game without totally overhauling it. More weapons/crafts mods are welcome too. Steam version, Alpha 16.

Much less active than I used to be on these forums, but I still visit them on occasion. Will probably resume my activity in full once Dwarf Fortress will be released on Steam.

Well, I would say combat realism, but it does overhaul the combat system and is being replaced by something.

The biggest issue with Combat Realism is it doesn't play nice with other mods.

I've never tried it because I don't even want to think about micromanaging ammunition.

Wait, last I heard combat realism doesn't even work in the newest versions because the moddev got fed up with arbitrary variable changing or something like that.   Did I misunderstand?

And now I think the original person has returned or something and is remaking it? Something along those lines.

On micromanaging ammo, if you have set loadouts and automated production of ammunition, theres really no micromanagement about besides in combat if you use different ammo types.
