"Uhhh... me an' you, let's grab dat one," Shruuki grunted to Drakruldus, jabbing a finger at one of the biggest, juiciest-looking sheep.
He shuffled over to it, trying to block it from moving away whilst still not terrifying it too badly, and looked down towards Squeakers. "Uh, you, rat," he was pretty sure giant rats could understand speech, right?-- "Once we got 'em, go an' scouts ahead, make sure nah more pinkskins around while we lugs it back home."

>Team up with Drakruldus to grab and lift a nice juicy sheep.

>Tell Squeakers to scout the path back once we've got it, to make sure no humans are about.

Here's my character. I actually was gonna do a rat, but squid actually made me reconsider, and I decided this should be more fun.
Spoiler: Lump (click to show/hide)

Lump is... he's... he's very special, alright?

Reach through the Fourth Wall to smack this guy.

Drakruldus watched the sheep wander away. He thought deeply for a moment, then exchanged the dormouse for a little green rock. It was shiny and if you cleaned it enough it was translucent, but not worth much; he had pried it from some gold ring from a human town. He too the green rock of greed and envy and used it to charm the sheep into wanting to follow the rock. He then began to lead them back home.

Use an Envy Charm to attract the sheep.

((Indeed, don't restrict your character based on what's around unless you want to.  If we ended up with a full party of rats, I'd just take it as the perfect opportunity to stick you in a hilarious situation where your inability to speak to anyone else is a major problem!))

 - In the forest -

Lukelygok swings his knife up at the dog, completely forgetting he never removed its stick-protector!

[Lukeylgok: 1 vs. 2.  Severity: 2]

He succeeds in whapping himself in the face with the stick, but not hard enough to do more than slightly dislodge his mask.  His stabbing attempts woefully inadequate, he makes a run for it!

[Lukelyflee: 6]

He dashes straight away from the dog, bolting before it can even get up a yelp, let alone chase after him!  He runs directly back into the village!

 - With the sheep -

Not to be avoided by a simple sheep, Shruuki picks out the one he thinks is the biggest and fattest.  "Uhhh... me an' you, let's grab dat one."  Drakuldus doesn't seem to be listening to him.  "Uh, you, rat. Once we got 'em, go an' scouts ahead, make sure nah more pinkskins around while we lugs it back home."  It seems like a sound plan.

Squeakers is feeling helpful, as well, and so takes up where Drakuldus opted not to, trying to help Shruuki corral the big sheep into place.

[Sheep cooperation: 2]  The sheep does not appreciate being approached on two sides.  Its dark eyes narrow and it lowers its head, shaking it a little threateningly.  Say, how many sheep have horns, anyway?

[Sheep assault: 5 vs. 1.  Severity: 5]

The sheep suddenly rushes forward, straight into Shruuki, pounding his guts in with its startlingly hard skull and sending him flying back across the ground, completely winded and probably a little bit on the broken side!

In the meanwhile, Drakuldus ignores all this nonsense, knowing that magic is truly the only way to go when it comes to handling big, stupid creatures.  He plucks out his green stone and sets to work.

[Charming: 5]  And it works like a, well, charm.  Three sheep, because sheep rarely like to do anything alone--it makes them nervous, you know--begin to placidly follow him like friendly ducklings.

[Boy recovery: 1]  From the weeds there is a loud snore.

 - Status -

Lukelygok: Bleeding, moderately injured.  Not in life-threatening peril.

Shruuki: Winded, fractured ribs.  Not going to die from it.

"Gh-nyeeeeerghh!" Shruuki screeched in pain, writhing on the ground with his arms pressed to his stomach for a moment before forcing himself to his feet. He couldn't afford to show weakness, after all... he even did his best to force a savage grin.

"R-right, ya see that? Dat was a distraction, right there. Come on 'en, let's get goin'."

>Hide pain.

>Take credit for the sheep's successful capture.

>Triumphantly lead the way homewards... wait, glance around for that other kobold first. Not too big a deal though, they're pretty expendable.

Impede action.
Drakruldus had no problem doing what the goblins asked him to do, but if they then tried to take credit for his holy charms when they can't even read*...

*Kobold script resembles a variety of random scratches at first glance. At an extended glance, it resembles a random pattern of several types of scratches. It is mostly used by shamans and the like for their holy texts, which are sadly often mistaken for damage by the illiterate goblins and hence thrown out. This is why both writing and oral tradition are so vital to kobold shamans.

 - In the village -

Not about to let a little bleeding or chew-marks bother him, Lukelygok looks for a weapon!  After a moment, he finds one--a very serviceable hunting knife!  In fact, the only problem it has at all is that it is tied blade-first to a stick.  Maybe he should untie that.

 - With the sheep -

Enraged by how rudely the sheep has treated his companion, Squeakers chatters harshly in an attempt to challenge the dumb beast to a duel!

[Challenge: 2]  The sheep stares blankly at the large rat, apparently completely unimpressed by all the noise he is making.  Then it turns around and starts to wander away.

Shruuki, in the meanwhile, makes an attempt at putting on a game face so no one will see just how bad a stupid fuzzy thing can make you hurt.

[Bravado: 5]  He firms up his jaw, straightens his spine, and pushes his hair back into a dramatic hero-sweep for good measure.  Ha!  Perfect.

[Leading: 5]  With iron-clad pain tolerance, he points imperiously at the route home.  The kobold is already going that way, sure, but Shruuki is incredibly triumphant-looking!  Enough so that Squeakers bounds along after him into the woods!

In the meanwhile, Drakruldus has gotten the sheep well into the cover of the woods, moving amongst the trees.  The stupid animals have no hope of breaking out of the charm now that it's on them, and follow docilely, mindless to wherever they're going.

Drakruldus just has a moment to twitch an ear when a pair of hunting dogs, one with its jaws already blood-soaked, burst out of the undergrowth.  Baying wildly, they don't even notice the smaller kobold, rushing straight past him and lunging onto the sheep.

[Dog 1 vs. Sheep 1: 3 vs 2.  Severity: 4]

The first dog scrabbles about to latch a hold onto the leftmost sheep's leg, gnawing it bloody as the sheep flails and makes an awful noise.

[Dog 2 vs. Sheep 3: 1 vs. 3.  Sheep counterstrike: 3]

The second dog tries to jump at the rightmost sheep, but it sidesteps and kicks the brute in the side for its troubles.

 - Status -

Lukelygok: Still bleeding, still chewed.

Shruuki: Fractured ribs.  Handling it fine.

((And due to some communication hiccups, I'm giving nginferno a bit longer to join in before I PM the next person.))

((Douple bost?))

Drakruldus rummaged in his bag for a moment, before removing a clump of deer fur that he threw as a charm.
Charm the dogs similarly to how I charmed the sheep, with the additional implicit bit that they stop attacking the darn sheep!
