     Suddenly, a large burst of pressurized lava exploded out of the wound on the side of Volcagus's face. It spattered onto the burnt ground as the beast's head fell onto the ground and it released its dying breath. As the pilots looked on, small blue lights began to dance across the surface of its corpse, signalling that it truly was dead and the mana within its body was being released into the air.

     The mana collectors on the Argoths's back whirred and the soft glow coming from within them intensified as they picked up on the saturation in the air, and the displays in the cockpit shifted to indicate that they were now fully charged up.

Cora sighed in relief.

: Looks like.. Its over..

[Nerjin]

"This abomination... It was less formidable than I had expected." Sacha laughed aloud "Ha! You are right! If this is the best these beasts can offer our quest will be completed sooner than we'd ever hoped!"

[Powder Miner]

Aqi doesn't even banter; he just lets out a long sigh of relief.

[Parsely]

: Nice shooting Aqi! Did you see that boulder?!! It was all-KABLOW! Teamwork is best work! >:3

Cora bumps the comm with her fist.

[Powder Miner]

Inside his cockpit, Aqi smiles a little and kind of shrugs.
:"Well, heh, you're the one who lanced the lava monster over..."

: "Ehhhh...Guys? A little help, please..."

Kester was busy trying to pull his leg out from where it had been pinned beneath a plate of the Argoth's inner armor when the head had gone flying about. Talk about whiplash... he thought to himself, chuckling before wincing at the pain it brought; his chest still hurt from when he'd slammed into the control console.

[Furtuka]

As the pilots reorganized themselves and made emergency repairs, a loud screech split the air. Up in the sky a large red shape streaked across the field trailing smoke and mana lights, and crashed in the nearby forest with a bang.

[Powder Miner]

:"Whu- why."

[Nerjin]

"What in the hell!?" Sacha exclaimed adjusting her helmet to get a better view. "Did everyone else just see that? Frollo, did you!?"

[scapheap]

:"It landed nearby."
Kayle sighs
:"It close enough. Let go and deal with what that is."
she pilot her mech toward the crash.

As Chronos moved closer to the crash site, the shape of the object became apparent. It was a heavily damaged flying Argoth with a long trench dug into the earth behind it from where it fell. It's back was on fire, and riddled with holes from being shot at, and one of its wings and arms had been completely snapped off. While there was no way the Argoth would be getting back up in its condition, miraculously the front of its torso where the cockpit would most likely be located seemed mostly intact.

Aqi sighs mounrfully, and jogs up to follow Kayle.
:"...This can't be good."
