So yes, our professor asked us to get at least three college students from other schools to comment on this pic, and I know no one outside my own college (which sucks btw). So, I ask for your help. Add me up on Facebook, then leave a comment on the link provided, whether you agree or disagree about the 9/11 bombing being an inside job. Then tag me on the same post so that I'll be notified.

For those interested, here's a video of the documentary we're supposed to comment about (yes, it's Loose Change -_-).

By college students, you mean international as well as national students right? Because the only other Filipino I know here is Vester, and she's. . .inactive, as far as I know. [The add me link is broken--you could PM those who are interested via those who reply to the thread].

Could there be more details on the matter? This sounds more like a sociology project or a philosophy one. And by details, I mean what exactly must be done on that. Ty

reactions can be approving or disapproving on the points stated on the video, and a brief summary:

Dylan Avery states that the Pentagon was hit by a missile due to the evidence he presented (personally i think he was cherry-picking), and WTC was destroyed due to explosive charges (I'm no expert about bombs but I think this is heavily untrue).

Anyway, contacted a real close buddy on the matter as I'm mostly inactive on facebook. Active only for family and stuff. And asking for him: All points should be based on the documentary, or can external sources be used on the matter?

Well, I guess it should be related to the documentary, but since personal opinion should be used anyway, think it's okay for anyone to use other sources to back up their opinions.

And it's a psychology-based project. Something about "what you see in the media isn't always true".

A tagged comment is needed to confirm. Which means adding me as a friend is necessary. Were it my own choice though, I'd just write a comment there, and at the end of that post, write down my current facebook name there, and inform me on B12 that it's been sent.

Saves people from having to add a stranger into a list.

Seeing the deadline, I'm pretty sure you've 1 down, however I'd suggest that you look for others in other colleges (didn't say an age limit so ask your brother/sister for aid ) because...I'm quite sure that since the time of this post being 6:28 pm on a Saturday, it might not make it.

Haha yeah, I do have a backup plan, which involves my brother who's studying medicine, but I can't outright ask his friends to involve themselves because we're not quite on good terms.

I hate when college professors abuse their teaching privileges like this.  Their job is to teach the students, not abuse them as their personal minions.

Your professor also seems to be attempting to subtly force their ideals upon the rest of the world.  As a veteran college student, I'd suggest looking for another course if possible (although in my experience, it usually isn't  ).

I'm not sure how presenting alternate points of view and subtly encouraging people to make their own decisions is a bad thing? There wasn't anything about this that mentioned enforced belief to anyone...

Though if it had been me I'd have failed for not using facebook. We had more interesting sociology projects that didn't mire in political bullshit.

Same here. I'm suspecting that the reason he gave the assignment is because he really believes Loose Change, despite saying that nobody should believe any media at face value, and should only come to conclusions after thinking a lot about it.

If, of course, he didn't believe it, he wouldn't have any reason to bring that up anyway.

And yeah, it's not possible to change courses right now. Or strictly speaking, it is, but I'd waste a semester's worth of time and convenience if I did, so it's not a choice for me.

It's alright not being able to help, because it's not going to kill my grades entirely. Still, this project is annoying, what with needing ONLY other college students from other schools / universities and involving Facebook in general.

Fake Edit: Well, he may have not asked us to believe what we're shown, but showing this kind of controversial political material after it has been debunked isn't good for the peoples' minds.

It might be a facebook experiment: Plant false seeds and see what happens.

I'd suggest reconnecting with high school classmates via facebook.  Surely many of them are attending other schools and are connected with facebook.  Best of all: people are significantly more friendly on facebook than in real life (I've gotten friend requests from high school bullies and people I've never met, to name a few).  It helps that lots of people accept facebook requests blindly.
