Hi all,

I've made a program which replaces the in game mini alert screen (and to a large extent the main alerts screen too (unless you want to zoom to an alert)).

However to make sure it is working properly before I release the new version of it I was wondering if people wouldn't mind sharing their game logs with me.

This will allow me to check that my program captures any and all messages produced by dwarf fortress during fortress mode play.

To post your log:

- Navigate to main dwarf fortress folder, the file is called "gamelog.txt"
- Use http://www.filedropper.com/ to make an online copy

I almost informed you about the DFMon Utility, then noticed you're the same guy. ^^

Adventure mode is also stored in the gamelog. Do you need logs exclusively of fortress mode, or can you sort out the adventure logs yourself?

DF 34.11 or are older versions fine, too?

Do you get spam in adventure mode? I would assume people wouldn't bother with using my tool for it, although maybe it will be more useful with the next release.

Basically the bigger the game log the better! I only found 6 missed messages in mine and it was 30 MB

Mine is 106 mb in size XD I somehow didn't know it was there and I didn't trim it. A lot of it is sparring spam, there's also some arena mode logs in there. There might also be a bit of actual adventure mode in there, but I don't usually play adventure mode
