fastest loss of a fort ever
« on: September 10, 2013, 09:14:13 am »

i think i just won "The Game". so i hit embark with fire turrets right? well gnolls spawn On my wagon, With the fire turrets farthest out, so fire turrets shoot at the gnolls blowup the booze and a few dwarfs some mastiffs and the odd tuskox, light the dwarfs that didnt explode to lil bits on fire while web turrets trap then in the raging inferno. best part the gnolls lived longest. all this happened as soon as i unpaused the fire turrets and web turrets shot before the map loaded and paused. 8)

The Fire/Web turret combo is dangerous in open terrain, the pairing is best used in pre-sanitized areas once you have settled in.

Bullet turrets are great if you are just looking for no fuss killing power at embark.

<Le Snip>
i have a how did your first fort die thread in the main dwarf talk page. i was just posting that i broke the game with instant loss as soon as i unpaused since a flame turret exploded all the booze stuff destroying the map with rum,wine,whiskey napalm like booze. just coating everything. although it was more like a fuel air bomb since one barrel exploded and spread more booze over in a mist then that booze caught fire and just exploded all the things. armok was running out of pots to put the dwarf blood,guts and other odds and end pieces of dwarf in, He was pleased  :P

Ah, nothing like breathing in that lung scaldingly hot alcohol vapor and getting splashed with the searing hot bits that are still liquid to royally screw make your day great!

I just felt the need to post that. I just did.
