The old thread was pretty old, so I figured it couldn't hurt to make a new one.

Terminus!  That game that's a cross between Simcity and FTL, colony builder strategy game and source of endless optimism is on Kickstarter now with some gameplay screenshots and a new composer!

To be fair, I joined the forum after someone sent me a message telling me that they made a thread here.  I didn't start the original thread, but I'm happy to show up when beckoned.

Besides, I've had my share of Fun with dwarf fortress on frozen tundra and sweltering jungle.  I just haven't been a part of the forum community, true.

For the first update video we're going to use a visualization layer to show oxygen being produced, flowing between buildings and depleted via regular consumption (breathing) and also a hull breach, so yes!  (but it's not quite ready yet)

There didn't seem to be a good place to put it on the Kickstarter page, but I may add it into the FAQ or somewhere else on the page as we go forward.

The Kickstarter looks to be going pretty well. I checked twice  less that 24 hrs apart and the funding has gone up by almost $1000

I checked out the kicktraq a short while ago actually, and yeah it does look to be going pretty well.
I expect it to get better once you get that oxygen flow video out and maybe try and get it some coverage in gaming press (if that's a thing you plan on doing).

I like the concept, definitely. Funny how a game like Outpost can leave such a lasting memory on some of us (I've had it in mind during my own project, though apparently not as much as you). Good luck with the 'starter'.

I hope you didn't set your prices too low. $5 seems really cheap when Prison Architect costs like $30.
