Similar orders as before, as everyone else is doing the important things: Bridge, Dock.

So:
Builders, Gatherers, Orchadeers build Communes. As many as we can. Need to get everyone into permanent homes.
Lumberjacks will spend a while carving out larger logs into canoes... mostly because the fishers of Mick's don't trust the idea of weaved boats to withstand attacks from those predators in the water. Once enough's made for the fishers, the lumberjacks will help build that bridge.
Fishers fish, using the canoes when they become available.

Dear lord that is a lot of casualties. Both sides are fucking massacring each other, apparently. Goddamn.

@Rolepgeek
It's like a proper Dwarf Fortress war, only, y'know, larger and less organized.

@ICBM Pilot
1. Yes it would, but again it falls under "training": a race of people with tails that suddenly gets rid of them, especially in a situation that would make them uncomfortable, would require a fair amount of time to get used to the new state of their body before being combat effective.
1b. In a 1v1 the one with the most momentum wins. If a lighter Neko and a decked out human charged at each other, the Neko can hit first, deal what would be a fatal wound, and still get mauled by whatever weapon the human has because charging.
  Hm...to look at it a different way, Nekos without skill (that's everyone without specialized training) would have an extra weakness during battle, Nekos -with- skill are either not hampered or turns it into an advantage. The -1 is just representative of the fact that they -do- have a weakness, and it can be counteracted with specialized training.
2. Alrighty. Good call on North, though I won't say if it's right or not. :3
3. Yeah.

People know that boat are supposed to float, but aren't quite sure how to achieve it (someone who's heard of a boat but never built one before is bound to get a few bad trial runs.)

Justification metagaming time:
The boat has to displace more water weight than it weighs. What this means is, if you take a big chunk of wood and make it hollow, but make the hole where water can't get it, it'll float, because the water is heavier than it is, in total. So the water wants to be on the bottom. by making the boat longer than it is wide, it becomes easier to move. So, if you take a big log, maybe two to three feet wide, and carve it first into a shape that tapers on both ends, then carve into it some holes for the people to be in, and make it so that the bottom is maybe three to four inches thick, the sides maybe two to three, and the front could be 6-7 for ramming or safety when docking. This is very simple of course, but it works.

@Rolepgeek
The NPCs will eventually figure it out via trial and error.
Lots and lots of error. :D
(Mostly off camera, but still lots of error.)

Which is to say, it is still pretty sexual. How else would it increase morale?

The lance is not finished. It needed a tip.

Try to use bendy branches/vines/ropes to fix a piece of sharp rock onto it.

In other news, While we absolutely hate that, we could use some form of stone-housing with all the mined stone. Design one, with sides made of carefully selected, matched, and shaped stones, with a wooden/leather awning tent top. Hopefully this will give everyone classier space with less wood.

swordnekos: hunt north of the camp with bone rapier to test it
armor makers: make bridge by tying large pieces of wood together then putting supports under it
weapon makers: make shovels that use bone for the shaft and a piece of wood for the part used for digging
miners: dig deep holes with ladders in them away from the camp
Furnace Operator:make a smelter with stones
