None of you meet until the start of the game, so this won't work.

By this do you mean simply that he cannot spend my gold, or that I should be buying the books because we have presumably not met? If it's the second one, I don't think this whole mercenary thing will work. If it's the first one, perhaps Coolrune should merely increase the amount of the loot he takes home, so I can spend my gold freely, since presumably in the cave there will be no shops once we're there.

The first one. I have no problem with metagaming, so the second one is fine.
Also, don't presume anything about this cave. Seriously.

So Coolrune, how do you want to handle this?

You pay me after the trip, a base of 75$ and 5% also. Deal? Inside the cave we share gold at any shops that might appear. Grandpas with guns.

I hate Spelunky shopkeepers so much. Also, no guns in this game.

[Edit]I'm going to round up the character sheets.

You play spelunky? Old PC or XboxLA/NewPC version. OLD pc is harder than NEW pc. Lol.

On a non-derail topic, Neirjin needs to revamp his character, since Unlucky doesn't stack.

Also, I play Old PC.

Actually, I just noticed. Coolrune, I think you've spent 20 too much gold.

Nah, it's 20. He spent 220 gold, and has two 'Rich' things. That gives him 200 gold to spend total. You DO have 100 base gold, but each level gives you 50 gold extra.

Oops, didn't see the second Rich.

I would have thought this would be a modern-ish spelunking thing. I mean, we have a character who claims to be an expert in Assault Rifles.

And I'm taking a geology course for College.
Wait, what? Sorry, I didn't notice that. This was meant to be medieval spelunking. If interest is high, I could make another spelunk after this that's modern, but it wasn't what I had in mind.
Would you glance at Brown for a sec?

I seem to be waiting on two people.
