The Mass Game Design

((So I should probably be sleeping but I had this idea and sleep-deprived ideas are the best ideas. Sleep deprived names... not so much. The idea is simple-we, as a conglomerate, are making a video game, and everyone has creative input. Add mechanics! Add backstory! Add a pickle! Just don't go horrifically overboard. Also illustrations will not be frowned upon.))

Alright chaps, here's the start of the game. The... extremely bland one, but important nontheless. Having an existing character (A red cuboid), having some level of physics and some terrain (A greyish floor with a few blue boxes). Granted most of this will be changed over time, but at least it works. I reckon this could go loose in numerous directions, so how do we want this to play...?

I add the code for black box enemies. They destroy Red (my name for the character) and other Blacks when they touch.

Add code for movement.
Also for pickles. They will be used to kill the black cubes and are obtained through dark sorcery.

I've modified the pickle code slightly-now Red swings the pickle with player input, and the idea is to bat the Blacks into each other, causing them to delete themselves. It's working pretty well.

I've coded the clue boxes to now be sentient civilians, they do nothing but wander and be killed by blacks at the moment

I've coded blue boxes, theyre cops. When a civilian box is destroyed by a black box, a blue box appears. They don't do anything yet.

I've modified the civilian blocks, they now have a 50% chance to flee from black blocks within an 80 block radius.

green. I've coded swords. swords have a 50% chance of killing whatever box they hit and I've coded coins. Coins can be used to purchase swords for civs.

I made blacks drop one coin, and civies drop two, but attract cops.

Also, cops have a 50% chance of having a sword.

I added Grey and white blocks, these are the SWAT. They get spawned in groups of three whenever a cop block is destroyed, and take three sword hits to destroy.
