"Fucking Goliaths! Captain, think your anti-Mech rounds might do something? We can deal with the troops, but that walker is going to give us some trouble." Nox yells into the comms as she leaps into cover in a doorway. Holstering both Pistols and drawing a frag and a flash grenade, throwing the flash first, shortly followed by the frag into the midst of the marines, blood pulsing and rushing through her body, adrenaline coursing through her as she hope that at least one of the assholes will make it close enough for her to tear apart. "Welch Get that rocket launcher off your back and get that Goliath in the cockpit."

Get into cover, throw the two grenades, Flash first, then a momentary delay, then throw the frag.

Yell to everybody to get out of there! Then chuck my other High Explosive grenade into the crowd of enemies, and give frag grenades to any who don't have one so they can join the super-nova party!

Did automatic fire spread? Must pay precise attention to gun usage next time.

Switch to Full Automatic. Spray and spread the enemy marines. Stay behind cover, but first assess health condition of allies and civilians.

A laugh bellows though the coms fell and terrible "there wont be anything but ash left" Welsh laughs through and fires a incendiary rocket along with all the frag and HE grenade his team have thrown.

Smith grumbles, shaking his head as he lit one of his cigars, putting it in his mouth."Firebats! Why did it have to be firebats?" Keeping a hand on his shotgun, he used another to grab a Fragmentation grenade from his belt as he saw the smoke screen go up.

Get back up into a prone position behind cover and throw grenade into the enemy's just after Nox throws her frag.

The ash blows away as the voice begins again "Hello! I hear explosions!" It reveals a small radio player "Please don't tell me experiment 508- Runebot failed. I knew I shouldn't have made it out of wood... Ah, screw it. Find me when you get back to the base. Ask for a Nick "Ratchet" Jones."

((It doesn't really matter that this is the Bay12 forums. Wolfchild would rather not silliness... it's his game. Generally you respect that and cut back on the silliness. As for my lack of action, I do apologise. My mother was back in hospital, and along with the 2000 word report I had to do, alongside a couple of tests and other assignments for Uni, and some other family stuff, I've been pretty stressed out. Shit sucks. Also, for the record, the correct term for known hostiles is 'Bandit', not 'Bogey'. 'Bogey' is used for unidentified visuals or on-radar units, so it's unknown if it's hostile or neutral or even friendly... It's unknown. 'Bandit' is used for hostiles. Brevity code. Kudos to anybody who gets the "Targeted and Firing" reference.))

Thomas said over his general comm channel to his team, notifying them of the Capital Ship's presence. "With that said, stay in cover and don't do anything stupid. We want to get out of this alive, not roasted dammit!" He left the terminal; More information fishing could be done later. For now, they had Bandits to deal with. Quickly moving to the door, he quickly sheathed his knife and pistol, pulling out his rifle. Pausing before the door to take a deep breath, he saw his team sending... a massive explosive payload down the corridor. Conventional sight would likely be useless within moments. Closing his eyes, he reached out with his mind, allowing his psychic ability to paint him a picture of what was around him. Eyes still closed, relying on his psionics, he slowed his breathing down, and in one smooth motion, stepped out of the doorway, swinging his rifle down, pointed straight at the Goliath. He envisioned the bullet hitting it, dead-centre of where he was aiming. 'Targeted... and firing.' Was the only thought that passed through his mind as he pulled the trigger.

Switch to my rifle, with pulse ammo. Try and take a shot through the explosions at the Goliath, using psionics to paint a mental picture in my mind's eye for me to follow. Just to ensure that it falls. Make sure to stay calm, and steady my breathing. Shoot right for the most vulnerable part to anti-electronics on it, i.e main computer or other vital electronic function.

We waste this facility, kill the crew, take the ship and emergency warp out of here. Then send a message to Umoja, get a crew to come pick us up and repurpose the Ship. The Sons need all the firepower we can lay our hands on! It would bring us power and greatness."
