-snip-

Yeah, I'd assume they're aware that I was a ghost (Ghost kit lol), but a lot of people get edgy knowing that someone is reading pretty much any stray thought around them. It's one of the reasons most people don't get along well with Ghosts in universe, IIRC.

Also, no, I should've mentioned, I deactivated my cloak when I met up with the squad.

Sorry for small turn, but you kind of have to make a decision at this point

Welsh through out the trip down in to the complex just sent a Death glare at Vanessa never moving from his spot just glaring at the teamkiller before the elervator arrives he pushing her ahead using his suits strength to make her take point before putting a gloved hand on Arca's shoulder and saying
"The rest of you go ahead I need a word with the Captain"

((My suit has boosted strength because thats my reasoning how to wield the bigger guns that can be changed by the GM if he wants to))

Its more supports than strength so no sorry

Spoiler: actions (click to show/hide)

Ammo is exchanged within the group, although Vanessa does not wish to share pistols. The team moves up, breaking down doors as they go, the first two seem to be general storage rooms, but the next two contain 3 people each, they look like techs, receiving and sending communiques and imputing data into the interfaces in the rooms, half a second after their doors are opened violently, the men and women put their hands on their heads, obviously never having been a combatant in their lives. {?} Vanessa however notices one pushing what she guesses is a silent alarm, all four of the rooms you have opened are distressingly low on cover, although you may be able to find the information you need in these rooms.

((Also remember the no witnesses order, standard procedure adds deserters to this even if they are not normally shot for it))

Spoiler: Thomas Arca (Talarion) (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Aurora Klias (Tiruin) (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Nick Rune (Coolrune) (click to show/hide)

"Keep one alive for the captain to read," Walker said simply, shouldering his shotgun. For most people, this would be an atrocity. Over the years, this had become Walker's nine to five. Killing technicians didn't give Walker any pleasure, but it was the same kind of dirty job present in every profession. Didn't matter that it was dirty, somebody had to do it.

Gun down two of the Technicians in my room. No rush. Capture the third to be read by captain Arca.

Vanessa looks around at the others as they progress, noticing the death glares and the uneasy chatter about her actions.
"We have our orders, she was deserting the Pack and weakening our strength. Lieutenant Rune, you said you were attacked on the way here? We cannot afford her getting captured and interrogated. Deserters are executed on this mission, simple. You make moves to leave without clearing it with the Captain, I shoot you. Simple. Any questions? We survive in numbers."

Entering the final two rooms and seeing the technicians within, one of them hurriedly pushing the silent alarm button, Vanessa springs over to him and punches him down and away, pistols leveled at the other two.... Looking for rank markings, killing all but the highest if identifiable. "Captain, Commander Smith, Lieutenant Commander Walker, we have company on the way, the silent alarm is active. We may be able to get what we need here... Walker, Smith, man the doors to this room and the one on the other side of the corridor, cover the corridor. Welch, you need to set up a firing line down the corridor as well with that monster you have there, if anyone pops their head out, blow it away. Jackson, join Welch and cover him. Rune, here is the other pistol you wanted, cover the other techies while our good Captain does his brain thing. Klias We may need your abilities sooner then I would like."

Punches techie, shoots him and another, keeping the highest rank one for reading.. Keeps pistols leveled on them and gives orders.

"Keep one alive for the captain for the captain to read"
Keep one a-no..NO!

"Aim to disable them!"
was the words Ara managed to say in the second of the moment. She didn't want to see people dying in this kind of situation.
What are you, crazy? They're with the enemy! They may know confidential secrets.
...
Better to keep all of them alive. You do know your equipment, right?
No..

She looked at Vanessa. "Erm-I mean..yes ma'am."

Ready medical equipment and subtly turn the other way while focusing on...the red cross on the back of my left hand because I'm preparing my medical equipment and not ignoring whatever they'll do to the technicians :<

"Thats what I like to hear Lt. Klias. And we keep the highest ranking ones alive, for now. The others have no use. They will know nothing that the highest doesnt."

"Kid, we're going to kill everyone on this base when we fake a reactor meltdown," Walker growled, hesitating a second before shooting the first technician. "How would you prefer to die? Killed by massive rad sickness after being shot in the knee and left to rot, or would you prefer that the enemy had the balls to kill you personally on the first pass? I know which way out I'd pick."
   Then Walker pulled the trigger.
"Acknowledged, Nox. I'll button this room up after I've got the Captain his book."

"You're not going to need to kill them. Hopefully. I have very persuasive ways to make sure they don't remember any of this. If that doesn't work, Vanessa gets them." Protect them from The Vanessa, and Knock them out one by one. I am going to find a way to brainwash them of the last few days. Most likely being me eventually stabbing them in the head.

"Snip"

"Fall back in line, second Lieutenant. Everyone in this building was dead from the moment we set foot inside. So shut up, let your superior officer do her job, and remember that you are a goddamn spec-ops soldier, not a wet-nurse."

(Left Eyebrow Raises) So you were not informed of my purpose in coming here? Well, soldier, I was sent here with the mission to bring 2 enemy units back- The first being a technician, and the second being a high ranking staff. I was unaware you were not alerted. (((As you can tell, this is obviously a bluff, but your characters don't know that)))

With a roll of his eyes, Smith let out a loud whistle.
"Fall back in line and follow your damned orders. We're here to do our job, and that includes executing witnesses. Is that understood? Or am I going to have to start doing shotgun court marshals?" He grumbled."We're soldiers, not the fucking salvo's. And, in case you forgot, we've got company! Walker, i want you to cover that door as Vanessa here suggested. We bunker down and we prepare to turn anything that comes down that corridor into confetti! Now get in position and save the arguing for when the mission's done!"

Go take position as Vanessa suggested at the other door on the other side of the corridor, keeping an eye out for anything that comes their way and be prepared to blow it to kingdom come.

"You have a good Poker face, Rune." Arca stared blankly from behind his visor. He wasn't even lying about that comment, either; It was a damn good poker face. But Arca knew it was a lie nonetheless. "As Smith said, we have a job to do."

Psychic my way though the brains of those present, focusing on the technicians. Look for information I think command would find useful, and memorise it straight from their heads. Try to do so before they get killed.

I've conditioned my mind to BELIEVE what I am saying, I've been thinking on it the whole way here. So they will think I am telling the truth.

((There is no part of the mission I wasn't informed of as the Captain. Even without my telepathy I can safely call your bluff.))
