Walker smiled humorlessly at the heavy. "I'll take point on this one, Lieutenant Welch. Wouldn't want you to be the first person to have to charge down people with guns. That might be scary for you." He didn't know where Korhal got some of these people, but at least the captain wasn't a coward. He champed the suit's bit, switching radio channels. "Captain, we're up and moving in your wake. You know the drill, sir," John-Paul said, his voice unusually respectful. At least for him.

Take point position, keep the rifle at the ready. Maintain radio contact with captain Arca, follow behind in areas where he's already had a line of sight.

((Do remember Your attacking a facility, one inside close range is probably going to be all you are going to get, just saying))

Walker bit back to a general channel, chuckling with the warmth of a three-day blizzard. "We're marines, throwing our lives away for nothing is what we were born for. You have a problem with suicide missions?"

"Then why the hell do you not want to charge the line? Lot less chance for somebody like commander Sofia to put down if you're already in a fight." Walker shrugged. Welch's answer was decent enough, it was just a little incomplete. "By the way, lieutenant, I think I missed you say something at the end of that last sentence. Mind repeating it?"

Turn 1

Thomas Moves ahead of his team, activating the cloaking device in his armour, you get into easy sight range of the building, It is very small, likely just an entrance while the rest is underground. {Perception roll hidden} There seems to be no guards of any sort in front of the building.

Meanwhile Sofia moves slowly, to a different flank than Thomas  {perception roll hidden} there do not seem to be any guards in front of the building, however you think you see disguised metal plates in the ground, could be turrets but there is no way to know what kind until they open

The rest of the team moves forward, untill they are just behind the ridge before the facility, the two highest ranks bickering as they go.

"I said I don't want to get killed before even getting to fight.
By the way who is this commander Sophia, the way you talk about her did she kill her own troops?
"
Welsh looks around for a way to approach that would allow the group to stay in cover.

((My Bad, was referencing Sofia and automatically went to the version I had remembered instead of the real one.))

"No, no, that's not the part that I'm missing. It's right at the end, and I'm sure it's there. It ends with an R, has an I in the middle, and starts with an S. Try it again and see if I catch it," Walker said, his tone condescending. He champed the bit and switched over to Arca's frequency. "What do you have, Captain? We're ready to push down, sir, it's an exposed slope all the way. Not bad ground for a sprint, but we won't have a clear L-O-S until we're already over, sir."

"I see nothing, but it seems fishy. A facility like this wouldn't have no guards..."

Switching to another frequency so all of his team could hear, he began to talk. "Aurora, report. Jackson, Walker, Welch, stand by for Commander Aurora's report. I see nothing from where I am, but they might have defenses hidden and out of sight. I have LOS. Depending on the report, we either charge down, or see if I can get close and disable any defenses."

While waiting for Sofia's report, Thomas attempts to reach out psychically, to see if he can pick up any thoughts beyond those of his team, or feel any psychic presence; While attempting to keep himself, if not hidden, unnoticed by anybody he might pick up.

"This is Commander Aurora. I see a number of metal plates on the ground. It's possible that they're defense turrets."

After giving a report, Sofia checks if this location, or a nearby one, is a good area for sniping. If so, she sets up in that location.

Walker grunted. "That'll be fun. Give the word if you need us to deploy smokes and charge the field."

Wait. Figure out if I have any cigars left in my suit's stashes. Light it up if I find one.
