(((Something kept so well hidden inside his had that he forgets it from time to time is the fact that this isn't even the mission he was assigned to. So yes. I am doing something sketchy)))

Rune ignores vannessa, but does in fact move back slightly. He stays in line, but points his knife down the hallway, ready to throw it.

Previous actions, plus try to keep the peace. Make a mental note to investigate my team's backgrounds.

"LT. Rune, at least draw your pistol, that blade doesnt have a chance at penetrating armour if thrown, its good in close combat only. Also, take position with the techies so that Commander Walker can take his position, his shotgun will be of more use covering the corridor then it will be covering a scientist."
