How do you enter dungeons? I've tried on Firefox and Opera. Just gives me a popup message saying "Unable to enter dungeon" whenever I click on someone's dungeon.

Speaking of battles, some of you may have heard of Smogon, or Pokemon Showdown. I'm considering creating a league that combines the two somehow; probably where you can only use Pokemon you've caught or bred on VDex, though moves can be anything the Pokemon can learn. The trials allow you to boost your EVs, after all.

That might be fun. Where is this "Smogon" though? Is it another browser game? Nevermind what I said, I just found it. Installing the client as I type this.

I added you and Sirus but not the others yet. I'll get to that in a moment.

Also I made my Smogon team for that league you are proposing, albeit they are at level 100 instead of their usual levels and have items that I don't actually have being held. It's the same Pokémon that are in my signature were in my signature last night - Bubbles (Wartortle ♂), Scout (Pidgeotto ♂), Buttercup (Butterfree ♀), Pippi (Pikachu ♀), Artemis (Clefairy ♂), and Cinnamon (Vulpix ♀). If I should make any changes please let me know.

- EDIT: 9/9/13 - Also I adopted a Mawile ♀ and a Roggenrola ♀ this morning via the Gacha Center - Katie and Pebble respectively. I want to get Pebble to become a Gigalith somehow but I don't know what needs to be done for that to happen in VDex Project besides getting her to become a Boldore first.

Yeah I'll be interested in it too when I get my new computer, which should be sometime this month. Also as seen by my edit I adopted a Mawile ♀ and a Roggenrola ♀ from the Gacha Center.

For those that don't know how to do that you buy a Gacha Ball for 1000 and then click on the dialog option that mentions adoption. You'll be given a choice of four Pokémon at a time, and these are ones that people have released. If you find one that you want then click on it and you will adopt it. You can give Pokémon you have adopted nicknames and since you used a Gacha Ball to adopt it said Pokémon will be holding an item.

As I said I named my Mawile ♀ Katie and my Roggenrola ♀ Pebble. It's the same names I gave them in Pokémon White when I still had a copy. I kind of regret trading it in now, especially since my brother has Pokémon Black.

in order to trade, you must fulfill a number of requirements:

- Have a Thunder Badge (be a member for over a week and catch more than 20 Pokémon)
- Purchase a ImageTrade Pass at the Shop for Image2,000.


Once you have the Pass, go to the userpage of anyone you want to trade with, and click the Trade Pass icon - note it'll only appear if that person also has one.

You can only trade one Pokémon at a time and, like in the games, the recipient must send a Pokémon in turn.

For your protection, trading takes place in three steps:

- You send a Pokémon in your party (it may be holding an item) with an optional message;
- The recipient is notified and responds with another Pokémon in their party (it may be holding an item) and an optional message;
- You confirm the trade, and the process is completed.

The trading process can be canceled at any time before completion by either player.

You can add money to a trade (you still need to trade Pokémon with it). Money is immediately deducted from your account when you send (or reply to) a trade request. It's returned if the trade is canceled, and sent to the other player only when the trade is confirmed.

Pokémon in pending trades may not be nicknamed, moved, have items taken/given to them, or be released.

Note: Trading Pokémon will NOT register the Pokémon you receive as caught, but it will register it as seen.

So 2,000 just to trade Pokémon? I can get that in a day or two but I'm kind of put off by trading not registering that you've actually owned said Pokémon.

I mean I'd be willing to help but I don't know if I'd actively trade myself. Never really liked that bit in the video games, especially with it being required to evolve some Pokémon. Then again I'm not too trusting of a person and the fact that my brother was always wanting me to use my copy of the game to get him all three starters in any generation kind of put me off from it a bit. I might still be able to help you but only if the lot of us can trade Pokémon often enough for it to be worthwhile.

It's to force you to catch them yourself for some, and to ensure you aren't spamming/ multi-accounting for the cost and thunder badge. Just do Sirus's dungeon; it gave me around a 1000, once I got the hang of it.

I get about in advertisement rewards a day but I'll keep Sirus' dungeon in mind in case I want a little extra. Also somehow I managed to get to Hoenn and caught myself a Ralts ♀.

Gardevoir was one of my favorites from Pokémon Sapphire and I'm glad I have a Ralts so soon into the game. I think I'm going to name her Harmonia like I did with my Gardevoir ♀ in Pokémon Sapphire back in high school and keep her in my party. I want my favorites there and on that scale I've got in my head I like Gardevoir more than Clefable, similar to how I like Mawile, Volcarona and Lilligant more than Pidgeot, Butterfree and Ninetales. Blastoise and Pikachu however are still my all-time favorites and I'm likely to just catch a Raichu instead of evolving my Pikachu.

Anyways thank you for explaining that little bit. It's surprising the length people will go to prevent people from having multiple accounts. To me it's kind of more Autistic than I am the lengths some developers will go but then again usually I don't bother having multiple accounts at one time in any game so it doesn't really affect me outside of the bit that now I don't really want to trade Pokémon in VDex Project outside of the evolution bit.

Then again none of the Pokémon I want in my party need to be traded like that and I don't really care about catching them all or collecting them all. I'd rather just raise the ones I want and live with them in peace. I'd be willing to help other people get the ones they want but only with Pokémon I'm willing to risk giving up permanently. Not my party of course as they'll end up being too precious to me.
