The firey Charshrew slashes at the Golta, its burning claws doing little damage to the magnificent beast. Still, its timely attack pays off and before the Golta can move away, the Charshrew slashes it from behind, knocking the beast unconscious. Charshrew is pleased (+1 happiness) but Team Rocket Clair was unable to catch the creature.

Team Rocket Clair stalks the jungles, knowing that Team Rocket will be looking to her as their representative on the island, hoping that she'll bank the most pokémon. She gets Charshrew to scorch a trail, and pretty soon they hear some soft purring in the undergrowth... it's a WILD MEOWDLE!

Psychic Marvin gives Abmander free reign to handle the situation in an appropriate way. At first it doesn't seem to do anything other than sitting down and staring intensely at the Belltini...

After a few moments the air starts to warp and fill with undulating waves of Psychic energy. The Belltini looks intensely worried, starts to question whether it even exists and in the midst of its existential crisis, Psychic Marvin tosses a pokéball at it, capturing the pokéfusion! Abmander is proud of itself (+1 happiness)!

Psychic Marvin gets back on the trail of the Kingtwo, the great psychic beast that he longs to own. Unfortunately, the teleport-trail is growing cold (rolled 3!) and instead they run into an ugly WILD TENTAEEL!

Cool Trainer Bruce sends his Growkans slithering across the creaking boards of the haunted house, at the great Aerogar that stands there, gurning at him.

Growkans leaps up and grapples the great Aerogar's maw, scorching its ghostly skin with searing flames. Soon Growkans is victorious (+1 happiness) and a swiftly thrown Pokéball later and Aerogar is caught!

Team Rocket Clair instigates a devious strategy!

[Rolled 4 (x2 +1 cool) = 9!!!] IT'S SUPER EFFECTIVE!

The Charshrew burst out from beneath the Meowdle, engulfing it in a roar of flames. Before the rapidly barbecuing cat bug is fully KO'd, Team Rocket Clair expertly casts a pokéball, capturing the Meowdle! The victory was so effective that all involved are proud to be working with her (+1 happiness for everyone)!

'C'mon Abtly, keep up.'
 Maple walked along the beach, the strange thing floating beside her. It had floated over to her the instant she landed on the island, and hadn't even twitched as she'd thrown a Pokeball at it. She hoped this was just the start of a fine run. After all, it was something of a privilege to be allowed onto this island, and even more so to be paid for it!
 But she had work to do, she had to remember that. She would look for a wild section of coast, and maybe come up with a name for Astly whilst she was at it.
