Don't worry, Mr Hunt: you can go in the boot  ;D I'd be more concerned about fitting a huge super mutant in the back seat than anything else.
I'll sit up top.

Maybe we could just have you carry the car on your back.

You guys are good with Repair and stuff, just make a little wagon trailer for him to sit in and hitch it to the back.

Is it possible to convince them to pay us to deal with the prisoners or monster dogs? Or will they just flat refuse.

Oh. Well, just for the Accuracy Bonus and Spot Chance. Thanks for pointing that out, I guess I forgot to modify those.

And Patrick, there is no NCR headquarters or armoury here.

You have no idea where that would be, and the only Officer you know of here is Major Cantrell.
This isn't some big NCR town/city or something, it's a small town - there's no big garrison of soldiers and officers here, just some that are either here to guard the town, or at the very least enforce this current roadblock thing they have going on.

Wouldn't a major have lieutenants serving under him? I mean thats standard military conduct basically everywere to have at least 1-2 junior officers around.

But it's why it's bold, maybe I'll get lucky. Nothing else for me to do here now. ))

I don't know, that's up for you to decide. But there's no where that you think officers would specifically be hanging out - the Trooper back on the road probably would have told you of a place like that back when you asked about the Major in the first place if there were. The only place you haven't looked is the checkpoint, because that's a bit of a ways out of town again.

Regarding the message you edited out,
Charisma and Speech aren't magic, Patrick. :P

You've been looking to the wrong people, in the wrong places, with the wrong ideas.

Well since I have exactly 0 to go on besides that they have a monster problem it's kinda hard. I had no plans to stop in this town so I have no IC reason to speak to anybody other then that.

You might have tried to jump into the Talkin'-Boots too quickly.

You did have 0 to go on other than that there was a problem, and you haven't gotten a job, but you did get some information out of it all. Whether or not it's useful is up to you.

((Also, I'm sure Harvey has more to do in a town than make a beeline for whoever he decides is most important, to talk to them a bit. :P))
