The game is running at about 1 year per hour. Considering my post last night and the current year in the game, it has just been running nonstop.

my company dissapeared when I was gone for fourish hours... was making profit and a decent amount of it, donno what happened.

Disappearing companies was because the game's settings came with company autocleaning (even ones with vehicles) as default. Removed that and restarted. Russians gonna russian.  ::)

I really want that one as a "when". I want "grubs", and "virgin woman" to turn into a dragon. and monkey children to suddenly sprout wings. And I want the Dwarven Mutant Academy to only gain their powers upon reaching puberty. I also have a whole host of odd creatures that only make sense if I divide them into children and adults.

Also, tadpoles.

If you're going to use strange and russian ottds, you need to check all ye settings beforehand, not after ;)

left button still leased for me. Maybe restart does something better?

I was wondering if, should the mood take me while I'm playing, I felt like streaming, would anyone mind? Naturally login details would not be revealed. It'd just be a case of me showing off the game, and to a certain degree, what we all manage to build together on the server.

If I ever get the chance to spend a few hours learning and actually get back on here, then yeah I wouldn't mind.

That's why you don't use seedy russian patchpacks without protection. Rolled back to our non-patched nightly build (r25575 IIRC). Sorry for the inconvenience. I'm looking into a simplified patchpack (just the slower timeline and some convenience GUI mods) to test out in the future.

Even though the experiment was a failure, I still appreciate you experimenting with the settings.

On that note, I think the mod that I call "smart build" was really good, letting you construct construct railways much easier.

Are we still looking for other ways to make the game harder?

I think what we need are goals. It's too easy just to sit on your laurels once you have the profit rolling in. How about one company that links up all the cities on the map? Or all the industries? I'm picturing several massive mainlines, all of which are connected to cities by commuter trains.

The MegaRail, the BoatLord, and the Tramsmuter, along with their less liked cousin the AerialAce.
