Oh yes, by the way, could my commander theme be primarily German, 20% Russian, 15% French, 15% Chinese, and 10% Arabic?
I'm not sure that's possible. I believe you can only have it set as one nation, and I'm no good with non-English names.
Same window you set the training levels allow for secondary naming themes.

Setting up the game right now. I've set extra-galactic invaders off until a later date because I have no idea how bad they'll be.
If you do decide to turn them on at a later date, just keep the following in mind:
1)They'll lag the game to death, eventually
2)They'll be capable of wiping the floor with us (and ending the game) for a while due to their technological and numerical advantages
3)They could potentially turn a player vs. player game into a players vs. invaders game; which may or may not be desirable.

If they are turned on, I'd suggest at least some 60-100 years first, probably more with conventional start. They are that bad.

Right now at the beginning it might be better to set specific civilian administrator, but yeah, once they actually get numerous it'll be better to just let you do it as you will.

Hmmm, relatively sparse corundium, and difficult to extract mercassium. Resource scarcity should make things more interesting later on.

Stupid over-powered government type. Felius, we should think about a pre-emptive strike.

Huh, didn't knew about this start of the game changes. Indeed we should. Two front ground unit attack? :P

You know, I wasn't really aware you were applying the research lab modifiers from the government type. I'm wondering why you even offered us the choice of government type, since it wasn't just for flavor. They're all pretty terrible when compared to the player race government (except for meritocracy, which is straight-up better) which is why they're mainly intended to give personality to NPRs.

Did you start with no missile silos? You may want to turn off sensors for the whole system. Also, look up on the Aurora forums for what it might be.

Yeah missile silos crash the game right now, something about crew quarters and morale or something.  On the off chance that you notice this, delete that shit and all will be well.
