Whenever someone chases after someone else going off, it seems like they go off-scene, rather than the scene following them.

I'm not sure though, since it hasn't really ever come up in any RPGs I've played.

To me, drunkness = no inhibitions, so my characters will tend act as they truly feel/think when they're drunk, rather than sticking to restrictions or behavior they've self-imposed or use to cope.

In Kester's case, that means he becomes pessimistic and self-loathing, because he has certain issues.
