Normally places like the spriters resource and then editing. There was another place commonly used, but I forget what it was.

I'm heavily tempted to just use the generic soldier sprite for Sacha cause I just dig how it looks... Ah well. I'll mess around for a bit with these things and see if I can't get something better.

You might want to shrink it down to about half the size. Normally people use the faces from FE 6-8, like the one Scapheap posted.

The character sheet. I would read it so I could guess what base to use.

Well I haven't done one. I was asking someone to make one for me from scratch however they liked and then I'd fill in all the background fluff myself.
