Have non fiery skeletons arm themselves with chair-legs and such as bludgeons and maybe the tops of coffe tables as shields.

As you order the skeletons to arm themselves, some take axes or maces and shleid s whlie other take bows and arrows and short swords. the flaming skeletons take bows, arrows, axes, and shields. After the looting is done, a door way to another room is revealed. From this hallway, there comes a foul stench and a low noise.

Lead us, oh leader.

Remember, most players will want to make one of 2+ choices, with at least two of these choices being meaningful and the sort of situation to tempt some players to go with choice one, and others to go with choice two.  When there's only one clearly meaningful choice, it can be advised to change the situation to create more options, or to continue the story to the point where there are 2+ meaningful options.

Sometimes you may realize that there may be options that are not likely to be obvious to your players.  So you may wish to write your posts in a way that helps your players think of suggestions - anything from clues to an outright bolded list of recommended choices.

As I see it, right now we've a choice of entering the next room, or.... staying here and making our skellies dance or something.

I say, Lets see how well our army can dance!  Then move into the next room, skellies still dancing.

You're skeleton's dance with epic epicness but one of them breaks through a rotten plank, revealing a secret room! My, what a decision! Do you go into the next roomj or the secret room? Or do something completely different?

Ignore the secret room, and go into the next room.

Because you know we're supposed to get secrets from the secret room, but who would expect a secret in the regular room?

MmmmmMMmmm.  A begrudging  +1

Only because we can (probably) come back and check the secret room after.

We heard a low noise from this direction.  Probably best to clear it, before we turn our backs on whatever was making the noise.

As youi enter the room, you see two things. A lot of rotted corpses, and a foulrot tiger.One exit is barricaded. the other leads  downwards. Several boards on the floor are rotten. What do you do?

Are the corpses in this room inanimate, and the tiger is alive or undead?  I'm assuming this is the case in this suggestion.

Order our undead forces to attack the tiger.  If we think we can control more at once, animate more of these corpses.

If we can't control more at once, stay safely far back, and well away from the rotten floor.
