So, outside of cosmetic things, there really isn't any reason to not start the grandmapocalpyse, huh?  Okay, well, the red/gold cookie thing, but I never stick around long enough to hunt those down ...

I always get confused when people call the cursors "clickers" or "auto-clickers". You guys gotta get your terminology right, or you'll never be true cookie clickers.

Well, I guess maybe some of you actually mean actual auto-clickers, in which case I have nothing to say.

Every time I open up a browser I always end up thinking about cookie clicker and start setting it up... As we speak its in another tab generating cookies... THIS GAME IS WAY TOO ADDICTING!

That's not so bad. Before you know it you'll have it open, not in another tab, but in another window so that you never miss a golden/red cookie even when reading or writing on B12. In fact, just got an elder frenzy cookie while typing this, so you see, that's a lot of cookies I would be missing if it was simply in another tab.

That being said, I stopped using auto-clicker because I forgot to turn it off a bit too often when switching to something else. Works well for Cookie Clicker, but not so much for XCOM

I think that is a new thing, from the heavenly cookie update or something, have yet to get to grandmapoctolapse since I restarted, but almost there.
