If not a little girl, I can always put forward Bostov the bear...

EDIT:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I think that counts to 1000...  Bostov the Bear can work the microphone, and knows how to sell it when it comes to taking hits, watch out though, Bostov has no clue how to hold back.

(Also, Bostov could probably do 4-5 matches/segments a show without a hitch...)

EDIT: Some slight changes.  Bostov requires lots of training, which means using Bostov a lot.

So when we last left off, Irwin had basically ruined our entire show by being a massive prick, so the absolute first order of buisness is of course...

Spoiler: Yes I'm bloody sure. (click to show/hide)

First off, we were paying him on a non binding per appearance contract. This means we could cut him at any time for no compensation. I took advantage of this. Now, this didn't bump our overall morale up much, a few points really, but the main problem was all the backstage incidents he was causing. The only other backstage cancer we have at the moment is Powerful Man, but as long as he doesn't directly antagonize anyone, we can try to make him work. After all, the kid's only 20 years old, so he could easily grow into the whole "Not being an asshole" thing.

Next is on to the buisness of creating the new workers, Now first off, before we even get started, while searching in the unused images for a masked worker for the first worker... I came across this.

Spoiler: Oh dear god (click to show/hide)

I do not have words for how unsettling he is.

MOVING ON

Now unlike the first update where we made characters, I'm just going to show the finished contract for everyone right off the bat, because we all know how that works and none of you are going to be particularly interesting negotiations. Also, everyone's personality is randomizes, so some of you may be awesome company men, some may be giant assholes. Even I don't know!

Lastly, we aren't creating a referee. That would be far too easy of a way out, as creating a referee is basically just the person inputting the sliders going "DO I want a good one, or a shit one". It's more fun trying to find the diamond in the rough.

Anyway, the three wrestlers I selected (Sory, but Lil'un wouldn't work right for this because of age, plus three wrestlers are enough for now) are:

Spoiler: Bostov (click to show/hide)
So, Bostov's gimmick is of course the vaguely stereotypical Russian big Man gimmick. His skills weren't quite up to snuff yet, so he's only being pushed at the lower Midcard. Bu hey, at least he isn't "Enhancement Talent". So he has that going for him. In addition, his size is absolutely massive, SuperHeavyweight being the second to largest, with only Giant being above it, and that's reserved for people like Andre The Giant.

Spoiler: Gloria (click to show/hide)
First off, I couldn't find a image for a female wrestler with a green mask somehow. Working on finding it, if not, she'll just get a normal female mugshot when the next update rolls around. The official forums are down right now, so I couldn't search through the created imagines people have. Like to keep the art style consistant after all. Anyway, the closest to a the gimick requested was "Equality Fighter", and the game did say she may have some slight trouble working it with her actual skills. Because of this I've given her no input at all. Everything she says in the ring is going to be rehearsed line for line before the show. This both minimizes risk, while also making a breakout star less likely. However, we have plenty of Star Power already, we need more middle talent to begin with.

Lastly, we have Albatross. His gimmick is that he's an alien invader. Or he thinks he is. Or aliens invaded his mind. Or experimented on him. To tell the truth his story changes every week and we can't keep track of it. We sorta just shove a microphone into his face and let him rant. It's all very confusing. However he makes up for his mind scrambling insanity with his amazing ring work. Although his complete lack of coherence will prevent him from being one of out stars, he will shone in the Midcard, and get to challenge the Main Eventers fairly often.

So these are our three new wrestlers, which brings us to a net gain of two workers after parting ways with Irwin. I'm feeling pretty good about them, although I'm not quite pleased with how much damn money Albatross wanted. But with Irwin no longer on the payroll we should still be making a profit.

Finally, the news that happened during contract negotiations. The only thing of note was a retirement:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
It's not much of a surprise, as in the default DB he already was retired, but in the expanded database he was brought back to own one of the new promotions. It will be interesting to see how PAIN winds up doing without it's legendary owner.

Anyway, that's all for now. The show will be sometimes this week, and then the regularly scheduled Monday update. With that, I leave you with another WWF/WWE clip devoid of context. Scot Steiner trying to attempt math. It's a typography with just the audio, but I couldn't find the real clip.

Actually, wrestlers can be as young as 5 when they debut into the wrestling world.
I was thinking more an actual 5 year old animal bear instead of a muscle man super giant, you can pretty much cut his life/career short per the retirement/decline/stuff settings, but I guess this works if you prefer not going the popular mascot animal that hurts your other wrestlers route.

And I suppose for the girl character I wasn't thinking 'child' or 'teen'.  Just a small very woman, since there are others who are also very small, I suppose that kinda got out of hand.

I'd like to see a wrestler with this mask:

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

For in-ring skills, just max out whichever represents choking people, because he is a foodstuff.

For performance skills, whatever you see fit for what you need.

For Entertainment abilities I would say decent mic, charisma, acting and star quality but low sex appeal and menace.

In other skills, whatever you see fit sounds good to me.

For gimmicks, he should probably have comedy as his best, and perhaps also wholesome (due to his bun) if that works for what you would use him for.

If you need a brawlin' munchkin (I guess I'd be a light-heavyweight. 220,) count me in.

Tentatively statted out a suggested wrestler for me, based on the premise of physical gifts/technical skills without much in the way of acting talent.

This promotion could probably use a few more pure talent/no entertain wrestlers.  Someone the stars can throw around for awesome matches.  Might want to up the consistency, tho.

So, no update this week for one simple reason. With Stoner now having the belt, we Really need to get some good storylines moving. Because of that instead of a regular update, we are going to spend the week active in this thread getting our first real storylines going. Because of that, this "update" if you will, is a refresher of all our current staff and how well they are doing. In alphabetical order:

Spoiler: Bostov (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Brendan Hoster (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Brooke Tyler (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Buzz Reid (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Jack Euchre (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Gloria Flemin (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Neonivek (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Kenneth Eastman (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Melvin Otto (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Albatross (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Sackman (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Olivia Diamond (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Peaches Martin (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Powerful Man (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Stoner (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: The Silencer (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Zak Attack (click to show/hide)

So with those as our current workers what kind of storylines could we get going with? For one we need a storyline for our female wrestlers, as well as one to shake up the Midcard I think. To add to that an extra signing or two might work if we expanded the show length, but that risks bring us into the red, which is something I want to avoid. What are your thoughts?

As a wrestler who knows how to professional wrestling works, and can cut good promos, I think a mentor-student relationship between my character and either Max Green or Sum1won's character would be good.  Essentially, put myself and one of those characters in a storyline on the same side.  I'll cut the promos, they'll do the wrestling, and we'll occasionally tag team (unless we suck as a tag team, but we won't know that 'till we try).

Non-selfish ideas:
Neonivek manipulates Albatross's delusions into an attack on the promotion.  Put those two either in a storyline with each on the same side, or with three sides and them as two (essentially, you chose whether or not Albatross is fooled by Neonivek).

Bostov and The Silencer terrorize the promotion!  Put them in a storyline on the same side.

Sackhead recruits a new stooge to attack our champion.  Sackhead and somebody else in a storyline versus Stoner and his pal that generally gets victimized throughout the storyline.  Not really sure who those somebodies should be, although Sackhead's companion should be a person you want to build up, and Stoner "pal" victim should be somebody you're phasing out (Powerful Man comes to mind).

Brooke v Peaches!  For the love of all that is holy, Brooke v Peaches! (Added bonus: Whenever either of them wins against anyone else, the victor benefits and the loser stays the same, ah wonderful broken storyline system!)

Bostov and The Silencer terrorize the promotion!  Put them in a storyline on the same side.
Alternatively, Comrade Bear is The Silencer's enemy, despite both of them being heels.

(I think there are too many heels.)

EDIT: Fun tip on starting wrestlers with decent/good momentum... Debut the character/wrestler in a 'good' angle or a win in a decent match.
