You start to follow the white pikmin. Despite having only a leaf, you find it difficult to keep up, until it finally stops.

"You see that? It might be our ticket out of here!"

You can see a dark, round shape sticking out of the ground. It looks familiar, somehow.

It can't be an onion, can it? Unless it's day time and I didn't realise it. If it really is still night time and that is an onion, then something's probably wrong with it anyway.

The odd thing in the ground suddenly blooms a large flower, and it starts spinning extremely fast. It pops out of the ground. Or, it tries to. You can see now that it is an onion, but something seems wrong. It looks like it might have been a red onion at one time, but now it is a dull brown. One of its legs is stuck in the ground, and the other two are shaking under the strain of holding it semi-upright.

"Oh. That can't be good"
