for the lebals

Strong Design
All the vital part are well built or at least on paper at little bigger than they need to be, sure it makes is stronger but at the cost of add weight.
+1 perk

Slow fireing
Is the bolt stiff or the spring weak?, this weapon takes longer to fire.
-1 perk

Accurate
Maybe it the rifling or the light trigger pull, the gun is Accurate
+1 perk

Small magazine
Maybe the springs bend easy or something, this weapon has a smaller magazine.
-1 perk

You can smell that your visitor is a cyborg from the hall way, the stink of oil and grease aged in to a weapon.
With out knocking the cyborg enters, his, no her body has clearly been heavily modified and rebuilt, so much so that you have a hard time trying to work out how much of her body is left unchanged.

Removing her officers cap and saluting she pass you a thick file.

You are to build a minimum of three diffident designs and hold a trial to select the best one.
The only requirements are that is it man portable by no more than two men.

We share there southern boarder, dont we...


Well, for guns I think that for one we should make a top-feed drum in 37mm, with about an 670mm barrel length.

It should be light as well.

I don't see any chance of a 37mm weapon be hand-wieldable.

I do believe you'd sacrifice a decent amount of range by doing so. Unacceptable for a support weapon. Not to mention you'd have very little armour piercing ability and staying power.

our standard caliber seems to be 8x50R for infantry weapons.

Lets see, we make a compromise. 8mm Lebel Automatic Rifle. Inaccurate, no melee, Large Magazine, Strong design. Same Barrel length, only stronger and with a redesigned bolt and receiver designed for automatic use.

Our best home is to emulate the BAR.

Apparently, we need to design at least 3 machine guns. So go ahead, though I propose you use modifications of existing guns, in order to save on design slots.

((Have there been any changes in unobtanium stockpiles?
Also, is there a central list of designs somewhere?))

1. P Class airship

      -Balloon volume: 31 000 m3
      -Total Lifting Capacity: 34.5 tons (Note: Includes weight of the frame)
      -Standard Flight altitude: 2000-3500 meters
      -Effective Payload at cruise altitude: 20 tons 
      -Maximum altitude: Almost 8000 meters, or more. (Requires dropping of ballast, and extremely low payloads. <5 tons)
      -6 Armored Engine cars, utilizing our most effective/most fuel efficient engine:
      -Multiple Heavy machine gun turrets. Probably the modified Belt 12's.
      -Note: A multipurpose airship, capable to make variable altitude flights. Has the carrying capacity to serve as a bomber, but can also do scouting and other tasks. Most important parts have been integrated into the balloon.
2. Modified Belt 12's so they can be easily mounted on planes or airships. (Losing the ability to be manportable, but lighter)
3. Early experiments with rocket artillery
4. Modify our fighter plane to use these modified belt 12's



A. Prototype factory (A factory designed to churn out prototypes)
B. Prototype aircraft factory (A factory designed to churn out prototypes of all that flies)
C. Shipyard.

I like this idea for the first weapon. Should be portable by a single man too. Sounds good to me.

EDIT: Perhaps we should trade a reduced fire rate for increased accuracy on this one?

Reduced fire rate and accurate would make it a Sniper rifle.

Maybe trade strong design for increased fire rate instead.
