It does increase my reliance on Quiver Dance, though, since I put no EVs into Special Attack.  I rather wish I had kept Giga Drain; I went with more reliable recovery moves, but it left my entire team vulnerable to Gastrodon.  Still, I was surprised when it barely survived your Explosion.  That was a fun round. ^_^

Every guy here'd love to be you, Gastrodon
Even when taking your lumps
There's no man in town as admired as you
You're ev'ryone's favorite guy
Ev'ryone's awed and inspired by you
And it's not very hard to see why

No one's regening as Gastrodon
No one's scalding as Gastrodon
No one's takes hits as incredibly well as Gastrodon
For there's no man in town half as manly
Perfect, a pure paragon
You can ask any Culise, ICBM or Kansa
And they'll tell you whose team they prefer to be on

I'm wondering if I shouldn't have grabbed Gastrodon to tank Electric and water hits. I could have plopped Cursed Body on Jellicent, even.

you are not alone Rolepgeek. Every Gastrodon-less team will eventually ask itself the question "I wonder if I shouldn't have grabbed Gastrodon to do [task] over [inferior mons like Kyogre or Arceus]

damn, having problems to connect. But damnit, barbarossa is in chat

Whelp. Beginning chores now. A lot sooner in the day than usual, too; I usually end up starting around two hours from now. Hopefully that means I'll finish three hours sooner. Don't argue with the math.

That scarf Chandelure really threw me for a loop! I entirely expected the Specs version.

I forgot to grab the replays, but I beat Elf, beat Kansa, and then lost by a hair to ICBM. Got a low damage roll on Ninjask's Aerial Ace against Blaziken, otherwise victory could have been mine. 2% health left, goodness. I looked at your team and became joyous, since I basically wrote the book on why E-Belt Ninjask picks apart sun teams like that in Tier Shift. (I'm not kidding! It's a few pages, spreadsheets included!) It OHKOs every single Chlorophyll sweeper there is other than the poison/grass versions like Venusaur, but luckily there's a whole team to help with that. I don't often see Blaziken, but I guess it would even beat that with a decent damage roll, so long as Blaziken doesn't have a Speed Boost lead. It's my favorite Pokemon. :3

Again forgot to get the replays, but I got wrecked by Gliscor fighting Culise, but then came back with a win. OU walls are hard to break for NU 'mons, but I got really lucky with the bonus SpA on my Zebstrika.

EDIT: Beat DaveTheGrave in a good game

But..but what did your tea ever do to him?

Left in the bag too long and it turned out too bitter?

And since a replay helps, Barbarossa and I went a third go, where I only just scraped by. Replay.  Fun things that happened in the first two battles: me burning Swellow and activating its Guts; and me forgetting my own Magnezone's ability. :D

EDIT: Also, Culise v. DaveTheGrave.  Another one where Rapid Spin saves me from a very painful loss.

fought that phazing team too. Didn't have taunt, or spinners or anything, so at first I was a bit concerned, until it became clear that all you have to do is out-damage the phazing

it's a very cool idea though

if he switched shinx for skarmory and put a red card on donphan as well, he surely would have got me

funpart lost in replay: I maxed out with shellsmash to everything *4, ice spear full cannons, ferrothorn survived, it was not even below 50%

Culise v. Kansa.  Moxie sweep, go go.  Quite a bit of fun, I think. ^_^

I'm done even sooner than I expected. I should be ready in half an hour to an hour, since weeding is hard work and I want to take a shower and eat lunch first.

And of course, use Wear Pants.
