After the last two Pokemon Leagues run by Akroma went....sourly, I, the God of Shipping, have decided to try my hand at this.

As per usual, we will be hosting this on Pokemon Showdown, on OU tier.

Please note that there will be NO arguments based on personal attack tolerated on this thread. If there is one, both participants will be immediately disqualified from the current tournament and then asked politely to leave the thread. Debate about points, it's fine, but heated personal attacks will not be tolerated.

Please note that any Uber tier Pokemon are banned, and due to the website filter, will not need be placed in this post unless requested.

Rules:
1. NO ARGUING INVOLVING PERSONAL ATTACKS WILL BE TOLERATED ON MY PREMISES. As much as I would not mind 'heated debate', if it starts degrading into personal attacks, the participants will be disqualified from the current tournament and the participants will be politely asked to vacate the thread. Please control yourselves, lest the Toad ban Pokemon on these forums.
2. Unless stated, no Pokemon or Formes of said Pokemon are to be used from the banlist.
3. No Fakemons unless stated.
4. If you would like to join, kindly PM me a request. Any requests via the thread will be summarily and blatantly ignored.
5. Finally, please, treat your opponents nicely. If there is any unsportsmanlike behaviour, I will be forced to immediately disqualify the unsportsmanlike competitor. Again, we don't want Pokemon to be banned on these forums.
6. If you would like to request a simple casual match, feel free to post the request on this thread.

As I felt the whole 'strict Tournament' feel was putting people off, I've decided to have a little fun.

Our first tournament will be Casuals: Whatever Pokemon, whatever moveset.
Ubers and Fakemons are still banned, but feel free to pick whatever Pokemon you feel like.

Post your teams to me in a spoiler and I'll start writing up brackets soon.

I'd like to ask something.

We will have arguments. Hopefully, none about the OOC stuff, but there will be, at the least, discussions about what to do for the next tourney and such.

Perhaps we should set up a discussion thread? We've already gone through two already, if we set up a discussion thread with rules about debates and discussions(and anyone not following them is, as you say, asked politely to leave), hopefully we can avoid the issue in a more productive manner.

In addition to this, would you be willing to post the brackets for any tournaments the rest of us might run, if we sent you the link? I've been wanting to have a double tourney.

Fine. Some degree of argument is permitted. However, if it starts getting to the point that people are angry about it, I am shutting both participants down. I have no intention of getting this game banned. Sorry if I sound draconian, but as the last two games ended because of arguments...

Also, as there may be new players, the Smogon tier lists aren't going to be used, primarily as they may not get what they are. Instead I will post an Ubers list myself.

The Ninjask set I'm using is one of my own creation that enjoys very mild popularity for a couple really specific reasons that really only apply to modern NU. Namely, it beat the pants off of Jynx, Scolipede, and Primeape when all three of them dropped to NU in March 2013. (It also does alright against other threats like Gardevoir, Sawk, and Ludicolo, but mostly it beats Jynx.) Baton Pass is really situational and I don't like it for ladder teams (which is what this was) because someone is going to carry Rock Blast to beat up your substitutes. Especially with how common Focus Sash Scolipede is as a lead, almost every Golem has it. Sometimes I run Baton Pass as an escape over U-Turn to evade Pursuits and Sucker Punches, but I like the momentum that U-Turn provides when I can guarantee that my Pokemon is the fastest one in. The EV spread is specific for surviving all types of priority (other than sucker punch) in NU after stealth rock damage. I kinda wrote a book on E-Belt Ninjask, it's my favorite. 

As for the 0 SpD IV, that's to get it safely into Torrent range while switching in to or taking on the nose a few common attacks that normally would not. I'll probably change that for these matches because I really doubt many people will be running LO Special Rampardos or Scarf Zebstrika. Though everyone likes Gardevoir, so maybe...

Changing teams is probably fine for casuals, but I doubt that's what you're asking. Anyway, I'm open for casual battles. Team is mostly OU, but I have no idea what I'm doing for the most part anyway so a fair bit of it is copy pasta from smogon. The individual pokemon are for the most part, but a few of the ones I chose only really had one or two good ways do to what I wanted anyway. The team I sorta formed on my own. (No, it isn't weather.) Also, I think I might have too many sweepers if such a thing is possible. I might form a lower tier team eventually once I come up with a decent idea for one. It kinda seems like lower tiers are more diverse, where ou is basically made of all sweepers and the few defensive pokemon who can ignore them.
