: "It looks perfect!"

"You look great! Now we just need the boys to be ready!"

Julius unfolded the message and read it carefully before giving Miguel and Leo nods of acknowledgement.

"I'll take care of it. Congratulations by the way. I wish the two of you happiness."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"Thank you, Julius. I'll return the favor if you find a suitable empress."

Leo gave a quick smile and put another log seat down, arranging them in a sort of semicircle.

[Powder Miner]

Efa scratched the back of her head briefly, and:
:"Well, uh, Sheila... anything I should do to help out?"

Sheila shrugged apologetically. "Honestly, I don't even know what I should be doing right now. This is all really sudden... But it really means a lot that you're here though." The bride-to-be sighed wistfully. "I wish Sakura and Maible were here. I miss them."

[Powder Miner]

:"Looking on the bright side... they've probably had it pretty peaceful, huh?"

Sheila smiled. "I sure hope so. It'd be nice if they'd manage to get away from the rebellion and everything that went with it."

[Sirus]

: "I never really got to know 'em all that well. What were they like?"

[Swordstar]

"Uhm... Who are those people?"

[Powder Miner]

:"Couple of mages that were with us and left waaay before you ever showed up. Sakura was, uh... well, she was interesting, and Maible... she liked books and didn't talk much."

"Well Ciera, back before all the stuff with Matilda, Leo, me and Efa used to be mercenaries. There were two other people we used to run with at the time. A pair of mages named Maible and Sakura. Sakura was beautiful. Tall, willowy, long white hair. A real head turner. Maible was pretty too, but with purple hair, shorter and..."

Sheila crossed her arms and looked up into the air. "Well... Maible was kind of like Fezz in a lot of ways, but less excitable. She was really interested in knowledge more than people. Well no, that's not right. She was just less outwardly social with people she didn't know. I don't think I've ever met someone more suited to the nickname 'bookworm'. And true to that, she gave me a book once. A History of Seafaring and Swashbuckling. It's pretty good."

"Sakura was a lot more social. And she was really into flowers. She wore a flower in her hair all the time. She told me once she was trying to grow some kind of vine plant that could hold people, but I don't think she ever made any progress. She never told me why either, and just laughed every time I pointed out that it's be pretty easy to slash or burn them. I still wonder about it sometimes."

[Sirus]

: "All I know is that Fezz and I once spent a whole day takin' care of Sakura when she had a bad reaction to some plant pollen. Throwin' up and hallucinatin'."

Once the clearing was well cleared, Miguel drew out two of his lances, one of shining silver, the other simple iron, and thrust them into the ground with about 10 feet in between. Then, taking up a line of saddle string, he strung it between the two lances. That done, he took whatever passable cloth he could find that was available; such as bits of his better looking old silk handkerchiefs, pieces of spare robes, and a very fine embroidered Garazian flag that he had tucked away into his saddle bag and forgotten about. Ah well! He cut the poor things into rough looking pennants and joined them with the rest of the riffraff, forming a festive display of color.

: "There." He said. "A pity we do not have the time to prepare a proper venue Leo my boy, but I shan't be having any friend of mine have a wedding without a few decorations here or there. My only wish is that we could give you a proper feast for this day of days like we would back home!"

"Oh, cool! Well... Should I go see if the guys are ready?"
