Leo looked at his glove ruefully. It now had a small hole in the tip.

"I have some traveler's bread if you'd like that."

Sheila slumped from her sitting position and laid down on the ground instead, covering her face with both hands. "For fuck's sake, why would you do that? He's going to think I put you up to it and it'll make me look really needy and pushy and ugggggggh."

[Swordstar]

"O... oh. I... I don't think he thought that? He... he seemed to think that it was a good idea. Or... I thought that's what he was implying."

Sheila uncovered her face and tilted her head back to look at Ciera. "What, really?"

[Sirus]

Grifen had missed all of these previous Sheileo conversations of course, and was intently listening as she prepared a pot of tea.

[Swordstar]

"Yeah, he... he said he was going to have to think about it but that... he wanted a moment when the two of you could be alone and together. But he was afraid about leaving the group and having someone get hurt. But he did say he'd think about it!"

"Oh. Huh." Sheila sat up, and absently brushed some dirt that had gotten into her hair. "..."

[Sirus]

: "Preacher said that? Whoa."

[Swordstar]

"Yeah. I... I hope I didn't screw everything up?"

Leo looked at his glove ruefully. It now had a small hole in the tip.

Upon noticing the small bird, Miguel had sauntered over. He harrumphed loudly.

: "Pssh. A Priest's hard bread is not fitting for a noble bird when he asks for grain!"

Miguel manfully strides to his saddlebag and retrieves a medium sized handful of oats and other fine things that he would usually reserve for Sancho. No doubt the old nag would be jealous, but the bird had come too far to be rejected now!

: "Come hither little bird. I bring you Kretos' finest! It's not as good as ol' Garazian grain, but I fear it will just have to do."

[Haspen]

The raven croaked at Leo in disdain and then flew toward Miguel, perching on his bald head. Then it hopped down on his right shoulder, and then onto his hand, before diving its beak in the bag of cereals. It began eagerly eating.

Sheila stole another glance at Leo, who was apparently messing with a raven. "So, he's waiting... For what?"

"I... I think a time for the two of you to be alone? Some down time? I dunno exactly."

: "Such a pretty bird." Miguel mused. He reached down to the birds leg where the message was attached and undid the strings quietly.

: "Now don't you fuss little friend. I believe that message you have is for us."

"...Now is kinda down time." Sheila said quietly.
