There was sort-of pawn shop; it's owner, a hairy and smelly man named 'Kreegor' (according to the sign, 'Kreegor's Tools&Miscellany'), had several tools to sell plus some half-used junk and treasures laying about on the shelves.

One ship was bound for Kretos, one for Masalla, and crews of the remaining three kindly told Alec to 'fuck off' or 'mind yer business', such advice.

There was also 'Tank's Weapons' where a a hooded guy had a peculiar selection of deadly weapons, and a blue-haired, extremely pale woman was selling books and staves in her shop of fine name, 'Arinne's Books of Hexes and Rods of the Night'.

Alec passed by the Masalla-bound ship one more time, but on hesitating for a moment, crossed his arms and shook his head.
: "Hmm. Well, there goes the quiet option. And somehow I'd doubt this backwater place would have something formal..." The bard stretched his arms as he muttered to himself, "Ah well. Can't hurt to actually look at this point." Alec walked off to try and find a proper courier service.

Frustated with his lack of funds, Candy goes to the local bar and sees if there's anyone that looks smart or bored or both.

Candy was the best at Don't Count. Maybe he could find someone to play it with!

The local bar was filled with the obvious clientele: smelly, hairy, gruff sailors, pirates and such. There was only one man sitting at the table near one of the corner, sipping some beer from a mug. It was the only one that fulfilled both of Candy's criteria.

As the pink-haired dancer stopped by the man's table, said male looked Candy over and then looked at his face.

"Sup?"

He could barely hold in his giggles.
