"Every day. But I was the leader of our group for... public reasons."

He looked at Sheila, a tad regretfully, before turning back to Grifen.

"The fact is, I am a man. Sheila, Maible, Sakura, and Efa are all very capable people, but the people who hired us tended to want to speak to me over them simply because I wasn't a woman. It is difficult for females to gain respect in this world of ours, and because of that, I became the leader simply because so many people assumed I was."

He sighed. Women would always be judged first and foremost on their attractiveness, no matter what other good qualities they possessed. He wondered if perhaps that was why Eleanor wore a mask - merely to skip that first step and force people to think of her as a warrior instead of a woman first.

"It worked out pretty well anyway though." Sheila offered. "Leo always took the time to clear stuff with us anyway, so it isn't like he tried doing what he wanted when he wanted. If it weren't for the, uh, recent change in our employment, I'd keep Leo as leader without a second thought.

@Julius:

"I don't know that." The servant then went his way.

"Oh. Well thanks any..."             
"they left before I could even finish"

Julius dashed off through the hallways, figuring he would run into someone familiar eventually.

Fezz listened in the conversation, quite happy about the shift, about the topics of tea, incense, and societal gender inequalities. Quite the interesting jump, but the scholar's seen odder he supposes.

"Even from just the time I spent so far, Leo has displayed a calm most I haven't seen in most, specially in as stressful a situation as combat." The historian added, nodding.

Turning to Grifen, he addressed the earlier topic, tea. "I'd be happy to try some tea, I can't really remember the last time I've had some."

[Sirus]

: "I'm with Sheila. I ain't known you guys fer long but if it came up to a vote or somethin' I'd pick the preacher right away."

She gave a huge smile as Fezz volunteered to give the tea a chance.
: "You got it, Fezz! It'll be the best darn tea y'ever had."

"That's true. I don't think I've ever met anyone who keeps such a cool head, no matter what. It's nice to know he won't be too busy panicking to pull our collective butts out of the fire, too."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"Thank you for the kind words."

Leo wasn't sure he deserved them, but he appreciated the thought nonetheless.

"Then we shall all have a spot of tea later on. Maybe some of the others would like to try, too. Sakura and Maible might enjoy it, at least, and I'd like to invite that Julius fellow as well. I want him to feel welcome in this group of ours, but I haven't really had a chance to speak with him yet."

[Sirus]

: "Who? Oh, that fella with the mask? I ain't heard him say two words since he joined up. What's he like, preacher?"

[SeriousConcentrate]

"To be honest, I didn't get much of a chance to know him. But he did get pressed into service with the rest of us. The least we can do is try to make him feel welcome. I wouldn't want to be forced into a cause I didn't believe in with a group of people I didn't know at all."

[Xanmyral]

"Masked man? Masked... Oh, oh right. I haven't talked to him much either. I believe the extent to our brief introduction was him asking if I knew how to find some people. I couldn't help him much there."

The historian shrugged at his half-truth as much as at the statement, recalling the hooded man. The man certainly had an interesting way to introduce himself, but Fezz has to admit he himself handled it rather poorly at the time.

"He was back at the keep wasn't he? We could probably find him if we looked a little."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"I believe his name is Julius. Do you want to go find him now, or should we wait until we have the supplies we need?"

[Sirus]

: "I dunno. Might be best to buy the supplies now."
: "...y'know, before Fezz falls asleep during a nice outing again."
: "Up to you, preacher."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"Then we'll get the supplies now. You can make the tea once we're back at the castle and we three can collect our friends while you're making it."

It seemed like a good course of action to Leo.

"Makes sense to me."

@Julius:

"I don't know that." The servant then went his way.

Julius dashed off through the hallways, figuring he would run into someone familiar eventually.

Sara just stood by as Julius ran in her general direction, watching him as he did so, before stepping out into the hallway in-front of him.

: "Hey, what's the big rush for exactly?"
