The moment in which Maible tossed the fireball it was clear that it was much larger than normally. The fire engulfed Thona who died with a scream of pain. The other knight, heavily wounded, quickly tossed his javelin aside and raised his hands in gesture of surrender.

"That's better." Irene wiped some sweat from her forehead and that's when some banging was heard, coming from other side of the outpost.

Seeing that the battle was over, Grifen began rummaging around in her bag of medicine. Even if Leo could get the job done more quickly, she wanted to help treat any injuries.

: "Okay y'all, anyone who needs fixin' step right up!"

Not overly on my own account, but it would be somewhat undignified, he was probably following orders just as we were. Killing him was neccisary, but treat him with respect as a soldier

Fezz sighed, whatever summoned energy he used to make his display dissipating along with the fire in his hands. The historian cast his glance at the surrendered knight, happy at least one didn't have to die meaninglessly.

"Glad that mess is over at least..." The man muttered to himself as he looked at his charred gloves, then wiped some of the soot off and onto his cloak.

"Ah! Er! Um. Right then. Sir, if you would just allow me to... move that way... all right, that's us untangled."

Leo got to his feet and brushed himself off, then offered a hand to Julius.

"Well then, we're off to a fine start, aren't we? My name is Leopoldo Belmonte. If I may ask, what were you doing locked up in there?"
