At the sight of the priest and with the battle over, Grifen's eyes brightened and she cheered up immediately.

: "Howdy preacher! Hold still a moment and I'll have ya feeling better in a jiffy." She began applying bandages to Leo's wounds, which would at least help stop the bleeding; further healing would come later. "I'm Grifen, by the way. Are you one of Sheila's friends?"

: "I'm Candy! I dance beautiful dance for you yes. It is good to be seeing you."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"Yes I am, miss Grifen."

He stood still, so as not to interfere with her ministrations.

"Mr(?) Candy."

Leo nodded to the dancer, not quite sure if his honorific was the correct one.

"I'm grateful for the assist, as are my allies. If it's not to rude to inquire, what brings you out this way?"

The question was directed at all the newcomers.

[Haspen]

"You don't have to sneak behind me, masked girl." Irene scoffed without even turning her head. She stopped at the body of the hooded man and knelt down, untying his orange shoulder guard.

"The color says: Riemondian, but..." Irene flipped the shoulder guard to check the inside, and as she found nothing special there, she flipped it again, staring at the seemingly normal piece of armor.

The merchant slowly moved his wagon toward the bridge, trying to not look at Grifen, Roderic and Fezz.

[Sirus]

The girl giggled.

: "Aw please, its just Grifen. I ain't one for being fancy or nothing."
She finished wrapping the worst of the priest's injuries.
: "Aaaaand there! I'll make up some medicine later to speed up the healing, but that oughta last ya til camptime. Anyway, the magic guy and the sword guy and I were protecting that merchant over there when we came across yer fight."

Efa walks across the bridge, stowing her longbow across her back, and leans against the tree.
:"Damn, I got shot, like... so many times. And I wasn't even the one to get that archer- though thanks, Maible. Rrg."

Sakura sneak closer to Irene.

:"But...?"

[Haspen]

"Yh, what's with people sneaking up on me..." Irene grumbled and then looked the shoulder guard over and around again, and then under the light, and in the shade. After another moment, she hid her right hand in the cuff of her shirt and began to rub the middle of the armor piece. The paint began to come off. After some time, something else was visible on the dark metal under the paint; a red eye shape with small but intricate red lion inside it.

"Welp. We should be going."

[Taricus]

: "But it's none of your business Sakura. Off with you.

[Powder Miner]

Efa rolls her eyes.
:"Again with the commands, Elenore..."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"I can finish the healing myself. Thank you, though, Grifen."

Leo did so.

"If you'll excuse me briefly, I have to tend to my allies."

The priest went over to Efa and lightly tapped her with the healing staff, curing her wounds.

: "But it's none of your business Sakura. Off with you.

:"Of course, miss Hypocrite, far be it from me, as a escort hired to protect ours employer wanting to know who attacked us so we can be better prepare to defend her." Sakura make a point of getting away from Elenore before she can come up with a comeback.

[Powder Miner]

:"Thanks, Leo."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"Happy to assist, Efa."

Leo leaned on his staff.

"I take it you're not looking to be traveling alone?"

This was directed at Candy.

: "Well. Ah - you see! I WOULD travel alone, but every time I do, I get beat up by bandits and forced into servitude. It's really not ideal!"

: "I'm questing for the Fountain of Innocence, a mythical location said to bestow the power of Pure Magic on all who enter! If you'd let me travel with you without afternoon beatings, I would be SO happy."
