: "But Efaaaa. If we don't pair off everyone with S ranks, we won't get the golden ending, and the world will just self destruct again until some hapless adventurers get sent on a quest by a space alien's hologhost!"

:"... ... ...neh?"

And then Candy tripped and faceplanted the hard, cold ground. Clearly some divine fates have been rustled by him a moment ago.

Julius clapped with the others, having returned with Fezz and Ram in tow right before it started.

"...I don't think my chief adviser would approve of that."

Efa frowned, and hesitantly walked over to physically pick Candy up and set him on his feet.
:"You're... not about to lose your fairyness or something again are you?"

: "No, but I did just receive a brainmessage from my GF (Great Fairy) with some updated Rules of Conduct, including 'no more hinting at future events which absolutely will not happen.'"

:"I, uh, I see. So, you didn't like... break your face then?"

: "Like all pretty pretty dancers, my face was specifically designed to take many varieties of abuse such as tossed tomatoes, eggs, and punches, up to and including 150 consecutive Efa Slaps. Warranty void after 150th slap."

:"I've... never even slapped you once? _{I did punch you after the dream thing but you deserved that one SO MUCH.}"

"I... Would not approve of that, yes. Not exactly unheard of historically, but that doesn't make it better frankly." Fezz took a step closer to Grifen, but he didn't seem to take the suggestion from Candy seriously. He moved the subject forward.

"Always nice to see happy moments in a world flung into chaos. Always a good thing to cherish those whenever one can. But we probably shouldn't ignore the world for much longer. Although honestly, I'd of figured we'd have gotten a message or something by now, so there's no harm in waiting a bit longer. Hopefully Frya didn't forget about us."

"Well said. And it just so happens that we've received a message right here."

Julius withdrew the note Miguel had given to him and flourished it for everyone to see.

"Unfortunately, as joyous of an occasion this is... it seems we shall have to cut the festivities short. According to this note, we are to leave the cave and head east for the city of Elam immediately."

"...or at least as soon as the couple of hour are finished." he said glancing back at where Sheila and Leo had been last seen.
