Ciera had been staring at the whole proceeding slightly in shock. She... she hadn't screwed it all up for Sheila. In... in fact she might have helped! And Sheila was happy now, as was Leo! Jumping up, she threw her arms around Sheila.

"Ah, this is happening and yay! I'm so happy for you! Come on, lets go get you ready, everyone else can stand, that's no big deal, come on!"

The light engulfed the ankle. Then there was more light. And even more, so much that it began to blind Leo.

Then a wisp of black smoke burst from the leg and shot into the air. A wail came from it!

"What in blazes is that??" But there shall be no answer, as the wisp of black smoke began to lose its form and soon dissipated in the air. Renault moved his foot in disbelief, and then carefully touched the ground. Then he shifted his weight onto it.

"I... it's..."

Leo sat back and rubbed his eyes. "Like I said, a powerful curse. Whoever laid it on you was very skilled in the dark arts... but when it comes to healing magic, there is no one more skilled than I am." Still, he felt a little drained, spiritually. "Even though the curse is gone, you may want to take it easy. No sprinting for the day," he said with a laugh before picking the axe back up.

Efa, for one, was shocked into complete silence by the turn of events.

Grifen gathered up as many of the flowers as she could and came dashing back.

Sheila returned Ciera's hug with crushing enthusiasm. "This is so amazing! I've been waiting for what feels like forever! What should we do? I don't really have anything nice to wear or anything. What else do we need to get ready?" Sheila allowed herself to be led away by Ciera.

Fezz had heartily agreed to being his brother's best man, although now he was fretting as he was trying to think of some way to contribute. The best he could figure out was trying to clear an area as best he could for the spot to happen.

"Well, uhm, if Grif is getting the flowers, then maybe we can make you a flower crown or something? Just something to make you feel a little more special? I don't know, I've never done this before, but it's all so exciting!"

Miguel gently took the note and pushed it into Prince Julius' shirt pocket or nearest medieval equivalent.

: "Here lad. The message is time sensitive, but I think we should have enough time for a quick wedding. I'm going to go assist Fezz with the ground clearing. He's not going to get very far with just his bare hands!"

Then, as he had suggested, Miguel marched to the place where Fezz had begun preparing the grounds and drew his rapier.

: "Hohoho! I hope you're not hoping to incinerate the grass with that book of yours. Allow me to lend you a hand in cutting this area into shape."

"Okay, that sounds goo- Hey, Grifen, over here!" Sheila waved Grifen over. "You found some then?"

The nomad ran over to her friends.

: "Yup! Hope ya like blue, cuz that's all I could find. Whatdya wanna do with these things, anyway?"

"Ciera was thinking of making a flower crown! But if we have enough, I should probably put together a bouquet too."

Leo looked over to Julius as he walked by with a log piece big enough to sit on. "Would you mind gathering up everyone, like Alec and Ram?"

"Oh, these are a little small, but they should still work! Give me a minute!"

A few minutes later, Ciera held out a slightly sloppy but pretty flower crown to Sheila.

"There you go! That should work just perfectly!"

"That looks great! Hang on, let me put it on." Sheila carefully took the flower crown, and gingerly placed it on her head. "...Bridey enough?"
