"Wait, what? Matilda? Again? Is Alec ok? He was back there with you guys, right?"

: "Yeah yeah, everyone's fine."

: "...c'ept Matilda, I mean. Pretty sure Sheila was plannin' to chop her head off to keep her from comin' back to life again. Speakin' of, Preacher, you might wanna put her to rest fer good before we leave."

"Oh. Well... good. I'm glad she's done. And obviously that you all are safe. We fought some floating eyes up here. And I think Miguel went exploring or something?"

The historian looked up from his inspection of the strange crystal when he heard Grifen's voice.

"Grifen! You won't believe this room! Or what I found. Its all amazing!" Fezz gushed but he looked slightly... Off. His eyes were a bit unfocused and he seemed like he was tired. "Although... I don't think this stone agrees with me, it has great power." The man played with it in his hands.

After a moment it dawns on him that something was up. "Ermm... Did I miss something?"

"Matilda will probably haunt us for the rest of our lives if I don't, so I suppose I ought to send her off... though I am a bit confused as to how she came back from the dead and followed us all the way out here."

That was putting it mildly.

The nomad smiled when she saw Fezz unharmed.

: "Just a zombie lady tryin' to kill us. The usual, really. What's the deal with the stone ya found?" She turned to Leo when he spoke up. "I think Ram said somethin' about her still bein' alive when she fell down the chasm, and her hatred made her keep tryin' to get revenge even after she died. Or somethin'."
