Fezz sighed in relief at the end of the final eyeball, the historian/archaeologist now taking in the room around him with wonder and awe. He was distracted for a moment to look at the poor remains of his book. Its pages were being slowly consumed and breaking off in motes of light and energy, the book itself soon little more than faint illumination. While a clever way to extend the use of the magic in the books, the historian can't help but feel sad at the loss.

The scholar moved to 15,15 and inspected the throne.

Alec crouches next to Matilda and searches her corpse.

The throne was made of granite, layered with brass and adorned with obsidian pieces.

Compared to royal thrones and such decadent furniture found in castles and palaces, this throne was rather modest.

There was also a small black skull on top of the throne's back.

Alec didn't find much, besides bunch of sheets of papers.

They were so burnt, wet and mangled that any text was unreadable at this point. The recent dip of Matilda's body in acrid goo didn't help their condition either.

Standing up and pocketing the papers anyway, Alec briefly turned to Sheila.
: "Papers. Completely decomposed, illegible papers."
The bard brushed his coat off and turned away.
: "Alright, do your thing."
