"Stay here for five days. By then I should be back or at least send a message. If not, then assume I was caught and that you should evacuate immediatelly. Like I said earlier, there is abandoned mining outpost north of here, and some shacks are still standing. You should be able to find a blanket or two."[/quote]

"I.. guess we don't have any other leads on where to head for now. Do you have supplies we could use somewhere?"

"Oh! Speaking of leads would you happen to have any idea where we could find the Forsaken family?"

[Haspen]

"Forsakens are gone for over eighty years now. That's what you get for trifling with dark magic and summoning creatures to your castle. Said castle standing at edge of the Wasteland didn't help them either. The ruins still stand, foreboding and full of treasures, rumors say, but rarely anyone visits the place. It's simply too dangerous."

[Sirus]

: "The Forsaken are gone? Shoot, you'd think someone woulda mentioned that to the ghost at some point...poor guy is really outta the loop."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"There's probably someone left. For example we have, unexpectedly, two heirs to the empire with us. It's not unreasonable to believe that there's a member of that family still around."

[Haspen]

"If there are any left, I never heard of even one of them." Suddenly, the whole cave was hit by a mild tremor! Rumbling echoed across the tunnel and tiny bits of stone fell from the ceiling, spooking the animals, especially Bree. The shaking lasted mere two seconds before everything was calm again.

"That's another of these strange tremors..." Fyra muttered to herself, keeping cool through this sudden quake.

: "Ack! The nature spirits are commanding us to leave! We should probably go to that place Fyra mentioned before the whole place caves in."

[Furtuka]

"Another? That's an ill omen. How long has this been going on?"

[Xanmyral]

"We might be able to find a clue about the Forsaken's at their castle though. Maybe a message left behind, or a hint as to where they might be now..." The historian wondered out loud. "...Also it would be quite interesting to learn more about them considering how little is known publicly. I for one would love to investigate it. We're tasked with purging the wasteland anyhow, getting a glimpse might be helpful." Fezz had to add.

The tremor surprised the man and shook him from his thoughts though. "Another?"

[Haspen]

"This is a second I have noticed. Not a strange thing, considering the-" She bit her tongue and went silent.

[Furtuka]

"The...?"

[Haspen]

Fyra looked at Julius with a grimace. It didn't seem like she was willing to spill the beans.

[Xanmyral]

The scholar was silent for a moment, watching Fyra until it seems she wouldn't finish her sentence. "Ms. Lebrande, we have to trust one another here."

[Furtuka]

Now this sounded important... he knew the empire had to have something hidden.

"I was under the impression you want us to trust you? ...you have your oaths after all." he said adding the last bit after a pause when he remembered.

Julius tapped his finger on the sword to remind her.

[Haspen]

"Apologies... this was supposed to be classified knowledge, though." She let out a small sigh.

"The Eyes, in cooperation with the Church, has, according to the tale I once hearrd from a fellow commander, some kind of underground settlement where bright minds prepare new weapons for the Empire. That is all I know. I don't even know where this place is, at all. You would've to possibly interrogate a very, very high-ranking Church official or maybe Eyes' operative, if you ever got close to one. These people are elusive."
